I rate this pouch 4.5 starsThis is a beautiful, large, useful pencil case. It will be perfect for my nature journaling retreat abroad in October. It doesn't say in the product listing, the dimensions of the case so I was worried it wouldn't fit long pencils or brush markers, but this is actually quite a large supply pouch. It measures approx 9.5" L x 4.5" H x 5"D. The fabric is a soft microfiber with quilting-like stitching but not much padding. Some of the things I like about this pouch is that the zipper opens all the way up allowing you to see more of what's inside for easier access. It also has an internal metal frame that helps it keep its shape when open. The zippers seem to be of good quality with elegant and wide zipper pulls. Stitching is good quality, fabric is soft and pretty color and large storage capacity. The front kangaroo pouch adds a lot of storage and functionality.Because of it's design, I think it could double as a cosmetic bag too.Things that could be improved: compared to the quality of the rest of the product, the lining feels lower quality and like it might wear out sooner than the rest of the bag. Also, given how large the main compartment is, I would have liked to see a divider down the middle or some other way of better organizing. Lastly, b/c it's a light color and soft fabric, I would have liked to see rubber or metal feet or protective bottom that would be easy to clean and protect it from wear.Storage Capacity: It holds A LOT! The listing says 100 pencils. In the pix, I have 52 colored pencils + a bunch of other stuff and there's still plenty of room. In the photos I have put 52 colored pencils, a 21 quarter pan watercolor set, a metal ruler, xacto knife, fine liners, retractable erasers, mechanical and regular pencils, paint brushes and water brushes, scissors, eraser, pencil sharpener, masking tape, mini sketchbook and more!I really like this bag and would consider buying one as a gift. i highly recommend it and I am a very tough reviewer.

I got this bag to hold my 80 piece set of coloring pencils. The main compartment zips open, and the frame holds it open wide. There is a mesh pouch pocket on one inner side, and 2 slip pockets on the other. The 80 slim art pencils fill the bottom. I think I could get at least another 60 in there!The outer zip pocket is nice, but the zipper sticks a little at the corners. I'll try rubbing a wax candle on the teeth and see if that helps. Just being careful with it was fine tho, and it seemed better as I used it a few times. Inside this outer area is another mesh pouch, and then on the outer side of this area is a mesh pouch with elastic loops to hold 6 items safely. The color is pretty, a sort of mauve lilac. The gold toned zippers are nice, and the circular zipper pulls are pretty and nice to hold. This is a quilted cloth outer with vinyl liner. I think it's nice, and I'm glad it holds all these pencils!

I originally got this because I thought it would be great for colored pencils and art supplies, but it's not really meant for that or fit for that. I was surprised to find that it had a nice stiff wire casing through the top of the bag that holds it open quite well when you unzip it and push it open. The zipper and the bag itself are very aesthetically pleasing and the quality of the fabric and the bag itself are great, as well as the color. The front pocket and the main pocket both have segmented pockets, some lining fabric and some mesh making it great for small bottles, toiletries, cosmetics or anything you may need to keep in a small pouch like this.

I am pleasantly surprised with how many pens/markers this bag holds. It’s really well made with space for everything.

I ordered this to put my diamond painting supplies in. I have several pens with a thicker handle and they fit perfectly in the front pocket that has elastic bands for pens. In the big compartment I put other supplies like magnets, trays, bags with gems and the pens that come with most kits.I really like the space this case offers and the different compartments and pockets inside the compartments.A big plus is also the metal rod on the opening that holds the pencil case open.The zippers seem sturdy, the color is pretty - I am very happy with my purchase and might even get more for e.g. my crochet hooks.I think it will also make a nice make up case.Definitely recommend if you're in the market for a roomy pencil/make up case with different pockets and compartments.

The zipper was missing but with a safety pin you can still pull it to open & close it how you need it.

I really like this, it’s very well made and looks just like the picture. The space inside the bag is very large and great for markers or other larger art supplies, and there’s a side pocket with pen loops and pouches. Inside the main bag there is three pockets (one mesh one on one side and two fabric ones on the other side) and the opening has a metal wire sewn in so the bag can hold itself up when open. It’s a very useful and attractive supply bag that I think would work great for all kinds of things, not just as a pencil case. Great value for the price! It also looks so nice it could make for a small purse if you’re into that kind of thing.

Thought it was great except it didn’t have big enough pockets in my opinion. It was bigger than I thought but I liked that since most pencil bags are small.
