Can you buy a replacement cap?

I think so, it's fairly easy to use, the only problem is that it is very cheaply made and doesn't last long...

How do you get water out of the hose - does it detach? Don't want the hose to get moldy with trapped water inside. Thanks!

I wasn't able to remove the hose to dry it out before returning it, and definitely didn't want to break it. I did use my husbands air compressor and managed to get the line fairly dry. I was concerned also about the mold issue, but as it turned out the hose had such a permanent crimp in it the pumping action didn't work at all. Hope this helps.
