Nice hinges but they were short 48 screws. And you don't just run to home depot to find matching anitque brass hinge screws. There is no 'contact' to reach GlideRite.... very upsetting.Also, as I installed these hinges I noticed that many of the screws did not seat properly. I came to realize it was because they were not machined precisely. They just are not a high quality product. Pay the difference and buy Schlage!!!Update: called amazon, they sent a 2nd box overnight & told me to use what I needed & send back the rest, they paid for shipping. Thank you Amazon.....

Ordered a box of 30 Satin Nickel finish 3.5" hinges with .25 radius. The first box I received had rubbed bronze hinges instead of satin. It was also missing the bag of screws so even if they were the correct finish I wouldn't be able to use them. The second replacement box had the correct finish (with screws) but was the larger 5/8 radius. Third time was NOT the charm as it was a MIX of the .25 and 5/8 radius hinges (but did have screws). Oh well, quality control issue I guess. The hinges seemed really nice quality with the self-tapping longer screws (when included).

Hardware was exactly the color I was looking for (as pictured). The hinges fit well and for our decor in our house. Quality seemed great and I appreciated that every hinge was individually wrapped, so to prevent damage from running on the other hinges in the box. The screws were perfect and even a tad bit longer than the existing screws, which gives the door even more support. Although I did not receive the correct amount of screws to finish installing all of them, they quickly shipped the remaining amount of screws to complete the remaining doors. Be sure to count them when you receive them! That will save you time if you are planning to do your entire install. Installation was easy, as I replaced each hinge one at a time. That way I was able to do the job on my own.

a Hinge is a a very simple part..but these are of a decent weight and sturdiness, and satin nickel finish matches the door handles (from another vendor) I installed several years ago throughout my house. Compared to the old brassy colored ones from before, these feel like they are of a denser material. In terms of maintenance, I lube them once a year (when the first door starts to squeak) and still am happy with the fit, finish and smooth opening of heavy wooden doors..I guess it was in the name :-) .GlideRite.

These hinges seem to be a good value. They have a good, solid feel to them and work well so far. The finish is nice, and the machining seems accurate. I am replacing my existing brass hinges from a 1968 house and they fit in perfectly.Of course, I don't know how they will hold up over time- that is the true test of quality- but I suspect they'll be OK based on the observable quality.One thing to note is that they are "open" at the bottom- they don't have a fake pin head like you see in some hinge sets. (This however is only cosmetic- it does not affect how the hinge actually works.)

Finally started to use these hinges this week, I'm hanging my 3rd door today. Solid hinge, looks great and matches my door handles. I bought the Ryobi hinge template kit, set to 3 1/2" hinge and routed my doors and the hinges fit perfectly. Good looking,solid construction and the screws were a little longer so it had greater holding power. These hinges are better made compared to what HD is selling. There was an error in the shipping charge, they called me and agreed to refund a portion of the shipping cost. It's refreshing to have vendors that care about their customers. That's GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Love it when things are better than I expected. For this low price I didn't have high hopes but we wanted to replace our old brassy ones before selling the house. These were great, fit perfect, easy to install, sturdy, and sooo much less expensive than at the hardware store. Amazing how new hinges and doorknobs after a coat of paint can make your house look brand new again!

Pretty sturdy and good looking. Works well with new doors. We needed to replace hinges on our 1962 doors and they were little too thin so ended up returning. Would buy again for new doors.
