Hi, is the toy lead free? I am looking to give it to my daughter as a teething toy .. thank you

I bought some lead testing swabs at Home Depot to test all of my granddaughters toys. This item tested for lead. Wanting to give it the benefit of the doubt I washed it and tested it again. It still tested positive for lead.

What is the cube made of? Is it soft and rubbery like the shapes?

I don't know, since it belongs to my grandson. I'll ask my daughter. She says she usually puts it in the top rack of her dishwasher or just uses a disinfectant spray of some kind (on all his plastic toys). Hope that helps.

Do the shape fall out when ever it is moved or do the stay in place?

They stay put. The shapes are soft, and my granddaughter loved chewing on them before she could sort the shapes! Well made toy.
