One of the best COUNTRY Ham’s I’ve ever had.
For those of you who have never had Country ham, keep in mind it will be saltier and a very distinct flavor. I bought a whole ham. Slicing and skillet cooking is what I like best and the flavor was everything and more than I expected. And I’ve had plentyIf you like a cross between bacon and “City” ham, this is the ham for you.Price was very reasonable considering it was packaged well, gift worthy and came with additional items to store whole depending on how and when you may start slicing it.I will definitely purchase again

This Ham is Great
We had this ham for Thanksgiving and everyone raved about how wonderful it was and asked about where we bought it from. So, I guess that I am a pretty good salesperson for this ham.

Cooked this by the instructions and this was the worst ham I have EVER had VERY disapointed
This ham was terrible and if I could I would like my money back. I made this according to directions and tried serving it to my family of 25 plus people for Thanksgiving and no one could eat it. It had very little flavor and was so salty you couldn't eat it. I prepared it EXACTLY according to the directions espically with the washing of it. Very disappointed

I'm sure it would be great if well prepared...
My mom insisted on getting this for Christmas. I gave it to her as a gift. She was happy to receive it. Local grocery store cut it in three for us... Definitely a big ham. I personally wasn't thrilled with the texture or flavour of the meat, probably because of how my mom prepared it... She didn't let it soak long enough so it was extremely salty... She soaked a third of it for 22 hrs, boiled it, baked and then because of the salt level, boiled again so it wasn't quite right. It made a perfect crackling though.

Wow....Awesome!
The ham came early and was well package. We haven't been able to find country ham for a few years now. Didn't know if ordering online was a smart choice, but, we are beyond pleased. It is absolutely delicious 😋

Good Value - Know What You Are Buying!!!!!
This is a "Country Ham" not a "City Ham" and therefore it comes wrapped in cheese cloth with a bit of mold on the outside (which you remove with a rag soaked in vinegar). You can eat it raw like Spanish or Italian ham or you can cook it. I have a bit of experience with Country Ham and this was not the best I ever purchased, but for the price of less than $100 it was good value for money. Some of the superstar Country Hams cost upwards of $400 for the same weight. I am pleased with my purchase from Ray's, although I note that Costco is selling whole Spanish Hams for $200.
