The length of the box is 30cm. I would conservatively estimate that one box would hold around 70 CDs (in thin paper sleeves). So all up, you could store around 300+ CDs in the set.

Are these sturdy enough to use daily as book boxes in a classroom?

Probably--depending on who will be handling the books. I have several in a row with manuals and test packets. They have never tipped over. You have to assemble them, so at first the edges are kind of rounded and wobbly--but you don't need tape to keep them together. When you put stuff in them, they don't take long to be "set." I have 3 sets of them, and I love them!

Waste of money

how come amazon sells such crap. Not at all a box . Just an encloseure of sheet of 0 .5 mm thick flimsy and needs assembly . Charging it at 1000 rs is looting not selling . Given 1 star coz 0 star or negative option not there
