I-angel Denim Hipseat Carrier 3-in-1 / 2014 New Product (Starit)

This is a great product and I'm very happy with it. I own the Ergo carrier as well but after a car accident it was too hard on my neck/shoulders. This product has been helpful in that it distributes most of the baby's weight on your hips and has considerably less on your neck/shoulders. I wouldn't recommend for people with hip or low back issues however for the same reason. I really like that the carrier part zips off and you can use the waist belt with the seat for casual/around the house use. It does have a little pocket on the side for keys, soother etc, but it doesn't zip shut so there is potential for items to fall out, particularly when removing the carrier. The I-angel website does sell a zippered pouch that you can buy separately and may be a useful investment since it's nice to have somewhere safe to put keys/wallet etc or maybe even squeeze and extra diaper and a few wipes in there! I do like that the front part of the carrier zips off completely leaving only mesh, which is great for warm weather. I would have given 5 stars except for the non-zip pocket and the fact that the fabric is a bit high when baby is facing forward (mine is 5mo and very tall). I suspect a smaller baby would have the fabric covering the lower part of the face +/- rubbing. When facing forward, I tuck the sunshade fabric inside to soften the contact with baby's face and I try to fold it down an inch or so but it does stay well. It would be nice to have a button or snap or something to solidify this feature. My babe did get a bit red on the legs after being in the carrier for a long time & swinging his legs against the fabric. I tucked a little blanket over the areas of contact and it seemed to help. This is the denim one, so perhaps the other fabrics are a bit softer. Definitely a great design and a really helpful alternative to typical baby carrier designs!

Nice designe, high quality, easy to wash.

This is a wonderful baby carrier. We had tried couple different baby carrier and this one wins it. First we got an original babybjorn (hands me down), while my baby was okay with it, she quickly outgrow it (she is now 14 lbs) and since it doesn't have the waistband, it kills my back. So we bought the Ergo baby based on the good review, my baby hates it, I guess it was too tight for her and the seat part is not all comfy. Then my friend told me about the I-Angel, the seat is awesome, it's an actual seat for the baby so she is very comfortable, my back can still feel the pressure, but most of the weight goes to my lower body now, he material is very sturdy and good looking (even for men), it has a lot of compartment for putting cell phone and credit card. The shipping was amazingly fast, it takes only 1 day to get to Chicago (however USPS sucks and mess up the delivery), so all in all we really like the carrier.

I absolutely love this carrier. It is not only beautiful but functional. It is truly well worth the money. I have used many different carriers and this one by far takes the weight off my shoulders. I have very tender shoulders and suffer from tension in my shoulders. The hipseat allows me to carry my daughter longer keeping us both comfortable. Now do eventually experience pain in mu shoulders but is not for quiet some time .

This carrier allowed my chubby baby and her dad able to be bundled up. And it's super strength saving for me. I find it worth it.

I love it! It has more little pocket storage than I expected and I am very excited to use this comfortably, once I lose all the baby weight! With that said, larger parents be aware that these are made in countries where people are typically not as large as most of us Americans! :)

great to put your baby into asleep

Such an easy carrier to use. Fits both my hubby and I really well. The teething pads are very helpful cuz our baby just loves licking the fabric. The only downside is it's bulky because if the hipseat part but that's not a problem. :) My baby sits comfortably in it and fell asleep in many occasions. It is quite roomy so I wouldn't recommend on a small infants. My baby was 4 months old in this pic.
