Works
Works well. Easy to setup. Does exactly what you want. Connects Bluetooth from your phone/tablet/etc plays audio from 3.5 jack. Needed to adapt Bluetooth music to an older car. This was the answer.

Wow!!! Like a whole new sound system for $40!! GET ONE!
HOLY CLARITY! My previous bluetooth 5.0 receiver died (actually, I thought it did, but got it to recharge after all) ... so I ordered this, considering myself a bit of an audiophile to see if there was a noticeable difference. It arrived today, and I needed to hit the road tonight, so I ripped open the packaging and put it in. I didn't bother with the firmware upgrade (still undecided if I will or not). I connected quickly and easily the first time and it reconnected after that. The design is simple. Everything you need is included. I didn't bother to crack the manual. But, here's the thing, the SOUND. WOW WOW WOW! The clarity and articulation makes me feel like I just got an expensive upgrade. If you have $40, get one. If you don't, sell something you don't need ... then get one.p.s. It is December in New Hampshire ... I didn't have any issue with it being cold. We'll see what happens when I go out to my car and it is 20f tomorrow morning. If there are issues, I'll update the review.EDIT 12/8: It was below freezing this morning (25f) yet the product worked perfectly -- not sure what these people claiming it doesn't work in the cold are all about. No worries.

Great customer service.
I had to revise my review. After my review below, this company contacted me and asked to help. They issued a full refund even if it’s outside the refund period. They indicated that they have a better product now.I will try again there product. There first device was perfect for what I wanted for, and if they improved the longevity of the product I don’t think I can find a better value for my money. ThanksOld review:It was the best Bluetooth ever for the price, the sound quality and connectivity is great. The last couple of weeks it shows it connected but no sounds comes out from my speakers, I have to keep connecting abd disconnecting the Bluetooth until it starts working. Great product, but too bad it lasted only 5 months before I started having issues

Nice adapter, good sound, short wire
Nice adapter...easy to pair, reliable pairing. Nice and short wire which works great for my Element and doesn't leave a lot of extra wire hanging all over the place. The only thing is that noise cancellation in the car is not as good as my phone on speaker. Maybe the car is a bit noisy, but I wouldn't expect it to be great as a speakerphone. Maybe it's because the adapter is on the passenger side of the car in the Element.Either way, this is perfect for music in an older car without native Bluetooth, but people looking for a permanent high-quality speakerphone might look elsewhere.

Damn better than I thought
Well I ordered the Firefly before I looked into the app and the app told me that my phone is not compatible cuz I believe it has to have an Android 13 mines at 11.So I was kind of skeptical about it actually working on the first go since I've read one review that said he got to work but no Bass. And I am a 53-year-old a bassshead. And I couldn't believe how good it actually sounded and everything worked the way it's supposed to. And I recently just changed my sub out, and didn't tweak the amp to the speaker yet. But I put the Firefly in, and the results were very very good. I would recommend this to anybody that wants Crystal clear sound and good bass. For the price you just can't beat it. I love it

PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK IN COLD WEATHER
This is a great product for those who drive vehicles that do not have supported Bluetooth connectivity. I drive a 2009 Ford Escape which does not have Bluetooth and I wanted to purchase an item to help prevent the clutter of cords. The product looks sharp, is small, and delivers great sound quality. However, I have come across two flaws so far while having used the Firefly Chat. The first flaw is that when my phone is connected and I don’t have any music playing, there is a high-pitched sound that can be very distracting and bothersome. There was an easy solution to this and it simply involved purchasing a noise isolator. I purchased the MPOW Ground Loop Noise Isolator for $9 and the high-pitched squeak was no more. That however changes the total price from $36 to $45, which is definitely on the more expensive side. The second flaw is the automatic connectivity they claim to provide with the Firefly. My phone has never been able to connect to the Firefly automatically, which results in me having to push the little button on the Firefly itself. The button on the Firefly is used both for calling and reconnecting to the previously connected device. It’s not too big of a hassle for me, and I like that I can simply push the button once to reconnect my phone instead of having to go into my phone’s settings every time. The only reasonable cause for why I believe I can’t automatically connect is because I have to use a car usb-charger port for the device instead of using an integrated usb-port provided in my vehicle. I don’t have an integrated usb-port and so I have no other choice but to use the charger port. I must clarify that I am also not able to prove that this is the case for why I cannot automatically connect because I have not been able to test an integrated usb-port. I can only make the assumption.Other than that, this is a fantastic product. It really doesn’t bother me that I have to push a button to play music every time I enter my car and the sound quality compared to other receivers I’ve used is phenomenal.***UPDATE***After using the product for just over three months I have experienced more flaws. First off, the adapter never automatically connects (as previously stated). However, pushing the little button on the adapter itself to easily reconnect my phone isn't that hard to do and I didn't mind it.... UNTIL that stopped working!! Now if I want to connect my phone to stream music I have to go into my phone settings, turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on, AND THEN finally pair my phone to the adapter. EVEN THEN sometimes that doesn't work and I have to physically unplug the Firefly and plug it back in and then go through my phone settings to get it paired... I live up north where the weather is cold and I don't want to spend 5 minutes fiddling around with a device just to simply get music playing conveniently in my car.Even worse than that? The cold prevents the adapter from working altogether now! All I hear when I try to stream music through the receiver nowadays is crackling sounds and cuts and tiny bits of audio. I strongly recommend looking at other products.
