I took my camera to RAdio Shack to see why it wouldn't charge. I am elderly and electronically challenged. The clerk that waited on me wasnt sure. He gave me a substitute charging plug to try. Otherwise, he said I may need a new battery. When I asked how much that would cost, he quoted me a price of $40! I told him I'd try the new plug first. Of course, the plug didnt' work. I checked on Amazon to see if I could find the same battery for my Nikon S4000 camera (the only one I have been able to successfully operate.. and has great pics.) I found this one on this site for $10. I was skeptical, but when I put it in my camera.. worked like a charm. Thanks for such a speedy shipment on a quality product at an unbelievable low price. :-)

Fit on the camera perfectly no complaints!

Arrived quickly, in excellent condition, charged up rapidly and ready to go. These batteries (I have two now have almost twice the run time as the OEM Nikon. To be fair they are also rated at almost twice the capacity. I purchased one of these batteries to supplement the one battery (Nikon) that came with my wife's Nikon S200. Both batteries were used about the same amount of time, recharged and use again, and again.... The Nikon had to be replaced, could not hold much of a charge (maybe 5 non-flash shots), but the STK is still going strong. The second purchase was to replace the second Nikon battery that I had purchased previously. The STK are a great deal, less expensive, longer run time and recharges well.

I needed a second camera battery and for the price this is great. The change doesn't last a long as the original Nikon battery that came with the camera but it suits my needs as I always keep a fresh battery charged and rotate them in my camera. Doesn't take as long as the original battery to charge.
