5 stars? Fail!
I fail to understand how this product has nearly a 5 star review considering its failure to meet the core requirement. Which is fit a 100' hose. Some reviewers have mentioned that it can't hold 100' but not enough have stressed it. So here goes- THIS WILL NOT HOLD 100' HOSE.I bought 3 of these and 2 Flexzilla Garden Hose, 5/8 in. x 100 ft., Heavy Duty, Lightweight, HFZG5100YW, all in a single order so, I was super excited to see them both arrive at the same time. No more hose left in the yard! My only concern was the container didn't come with a lid and I really wanted a lid so I could keep it outside during the winter months. But only the copper containers came with a lid and some people complained about rusting and I wanted this container to last so I figured I'd go to Lowe's and try to find a lid that would fit. Basically, I'd already made a compromise on this purchase and that's where I made the first mistake. Now, on to the review...First, a 100 foot hose will not fit in this thing. The only way to get it to fit is to wrap the hose inside from start to finish, making sure it hugs the edge all the way. Then it will fit. But this is not NORMAL use. A person can't be expected to stand there and wrap it perfectly every time in order to ensure proper fit. And the Flexzilla hose I purchased met the container specifications exactly. Fail.Second, this thing is so lightweight it falls over when the wind blows. That's an exaggeration but it wouldn't shock me if it happened. The problem is that it's not a design flaw because it's lightweight as advertised but under NORMAL use it tips over with anything less than 80 feet of hose remaining. I can't imagine how a shorter hose would perform. There should be mounting suggestions in the advertisement. Fail.Lastly, there are no drain holes. Good for the mosquitoes bad for me. Fail.So in order to make this purchase work I had to- 1) find a lid at Lowe's 2) drill drain holes in the bottom 3) mount it to a 2x4 which was then screwed into the deck so it wouldn't fall over 4) I couldn't increase the depth/height so the 100' hose would fit therefore, there was nothing I could do to fix this core flaw.1 star because it caused more headaches than it fixed.

Just a warning.. There is no way this ...
Just a warning.. There is no way this will hold 100ft of hose. I have 50ft of thinner flex hose and it just makes it. Not fair to save up to 100ft. be careful..

Nice 50' Garden Hose Container
This resin garden hose container fit my 50' hose well. I like everything about it except I found it a Walmart at one-half the price.

Sturdy and nice looking
Sturdy and nice looking. BUT I picked it over others because it says in the product info on Amazon AND it says it on the packaging label that it has drainage holes in the bottom. NO HOLES found! So, it will collect a small amount of rainwater in the bottom.

Nice Container... But Very Light.
The hose storage works good, but has one issue. The container is very light and tips over easy when extending the house. I added several inches of gravel to give the container stability.

Meh
I was hoping this would hide my hose like it shows in their picture. If you have 100 ft, expect it to go above the rim. One you have your house extended in your yard, this product tips over on it's side and you feel kinda dumb.

Love it! Looks great and is functional.
This is exactly what I wanted for my container garden. It perfectly fits my hose and tucks it neatly away to keep my garden space tidy. I have a 50 foot hose and the entire hose fits in the pot. To “assemble” you simply thread the hose through the access hole and run it to the faucet. The first time you wrap the hose inside takes a little time but after that, it’s quick and simply to use.I love the bronzed look for my container garden. The pot is well-made but is lightweight and easy to move around.

Nice Pots, But May Need a Special Hose
The product itself is fine, it's well constructed and looks great. I was excited about getting them (I bought two). But they didn't work out like I thought they would. I thought I would simply curl up the hoses after use and place them in the pots. However, my hoses are proving too difficult to wind them up into circles to go into the pots. All I have is a jumbled up mess of hoses that won't go into the pots. So, the pots didn't solve my problem of the hoses sprawled all around the patio or ground. The hoses are new and of good quality, but they are not designed for storage in these pots.

Totally Sturdy
Takes on winters in Canada with no sign of breakdown...for folks who don't have indoor storage room.

Overpriced
This does the job but really not worth $50 - I think you could just make one yourself if you were able to cut out a hole in the bottom of a regular garden pot for the hose to come through.

Perfect condition
Haven't used it yet, but it came in perfect condition, is light weight and large. Will definitely hold my hose! Thanks

I was disappointed it wasn't metal.
I thought it was actually metal. I am using it to store my garden hose. When it is empty it falls over.
