Okay but not great. Buy the screen without the case/frame
The screen is fine but not great. The case/frame poorly designed and not worth the extra few bucks. Get the screen alone. It’s about the what you should expect from the screen for the price. It works, and the resolution is fine. The touchscreen works fine. Backlight is controlled with a switch in the back and brightness can’t be adjusted. The screen keeps accepting touches even when the screen/backlight is off and you can’t see anything. Seems to draw a good amount of power from a raspberry pi even with the backlight off. Even though there are 2 usb inputs, connecting a second power source isn’t easy, as the touchscreen stops working. A dedicated power input would’ve been better. The picture frame case is terrible. The acrylic barely covers the screen. The thin metal screws protrude far beyond the case, scratching everything in their path if you use the case without the stand.

Touch screen works really well
I was worried the touch screen wouldn't be responsive, but it works like a charm. It's a 'capacitive' touchscreen, which is better quality. Also, you don't have to plug the screen in to power it: if you plug-in the USB cable from the screen to the Raspberry Pi (which communicates the touch signals) that'll act as the power source. So you just need to plug in the HDMI cable and the USB cable. One note: I actually plugged the screen in separately to a power source at first and another USB cable to the Pi (the screen has two microUSB ports). For some reason, this did NOT work and I did not get any touch response. Not sure if this was the problem, or it just eventually found the driver - but just use one USB cable from the screen to the Pi.

Not the greatest screen
If you are looking for something basic and cheap then this will work. The over all picture quality is poor for todays standards. The touch sensitive around the edges of the screen are not calibrated very well. This would be better suited for an industrial touch screen where you need to press a few large 1 color buttons to run a machine.

Great product for enthusiasts.
I used this product for a raspberry pi, to make a computer inside of a lunchbox, and this worked fantastically. I didn’t even buy it for the touchscreen, but that works perfectly. I will say it’s a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

~!~ Needs a Better HDMI Cable ~!~
Everything seems to work okay. The length and fit of the HDMI cable is poor at best.

The steps to assemble the touchscreen is little complicated .The driver installation steps are present in product description.
