This toy is money well spent. My 5 year old daughter loves them! We first saw them at a library sensory play class. I thought they were very nice quality so I looked them up and found them quickly. Excellent price ($8 with tax) so I ordered them as a reward for taking her medicine correctly. They arrived right on time after her last dose, nicely packaged in 2 plastic pouches. There is NO SMELL to the toys or the packaging which makes us extremely happy (since cheap toys made in China often smell toxic). My daughter now has them acting out an elaborate “movie” scenario. Lol! I heard her narrating how spiders take flight (search “spiders ballooning” on YouTube for some cool flying spider videos). Technically spiders and scorpions are not insects but they deserve to hang out with the other flies, beetles, grasshoppers, dragonflies, ants, praying mantises, bees, cockroach and caterpillar included in this set of 24 different creepy crawlies. No duplicates! The colors and details are pretty realistic (backs and also undersides!), so adults might feel a bit skeeved at seeing or touching them. Lol! They are a soft flexible plastic (not rubber) and should be quite durable for endless hours of play. Our favorite is the shiny metallic blue beetle. I do not recommend for little kids who still put things in their mouth (the legs, antennae and wings could easily be chewed off and choked on). But I highly recommend for age 4+ bug-loving girls and boys!

I bought these to use in my practice for the kids to play with in the sand. When I say these don't look fake I mean it. One of my students put one of the bugs under a picture in my office and the next day I picked up the picture and almost jumped on top of my desk however everyone heard me in the adjoining offices. It was funny! The insects are great fun for kids and strong and durable. I believe they are a good value for the money.

We used these as party decorations when my wife received her Masters Degree in Entomology. These are just the right size and have nice colors and variation. I wouldn't recommend them as toys for small children.

We loved these!! The value alone was worth these little bugs! The quality, size and realistic features were great on this product. Definitely worth the value, my kids loved these, we actually used these in a 100th day shirt for my daughters class.

So many different colors of bugs, my toddler LOVES them so much. They even look pretty real which is neat and makes it more fun. The size is good as well and bigger than expected.
