I have the older model of this tripod, which has been discontinued. Since 2018, I have subjected it to way more use and abuse than it was designed for. I had to replace the bolts which were worn thin last year, which the hardware is easy to find at a local hardware store. In 2022, right before a trip to Montana the inner leg brace on my tripod broke. Customer service handled my claim quickly and sent me a replacement part which arrived just in time. Despite buying my tripod four years prior, they gave me the part free of charge and paid for the shipping. Couldn't be happier.The only cons to this tripod system that I have found, is that if not leveled perfectly the system can be somewhat shaky in windy conditions. By this I mean, you can notice some swaying in the video but its no where to the point where the tripod could tip over. The other issue I have found is that under lots of use, the bolts can loosen and need to be tightened regularly. Luckily if a piece of hardware does fall off, its a standard size and replacements can be found at any hardware store.

Very pleased with this tripod and head... sturdy yet lightweight... handles my Red Komodo Cinema camera (even when fully tricked out and weighted down with accessories) and the head movement is smooth and easily adjusted. If this works for a Cinema feature film, it will work for pretty much any other application. Definitely a great value buy!

The tripod is nice and sturdy and surprisingly the fluid head is pretty smooth.My only issue is that I wish you could adjust the height by not adjusting the leg height.I use mine for video production and it works fine for camera B.If money is not an issue just go with the mannfroto 055 with the fluid head. Love that tripod.

I have had and been using this tripod since 2019. It is used to record our church services. I completely love this tripod. It is as steady as a rock and is so smooth in operation. I get many complaints on the quality of the video that I shoot, and none of it would be possible without the sturdiness and smooth operation of this tripod for video purposes. I even used it for recording a night rocket launch. Outside the it is so sturdy, that the wind does not move it at all, rock solid.Recently when cleaning it, the pin on one of the foot pads broke off. I contacted customer support and they immediately sent me not one but all three new footpads at no charge!Fantastic Product and Fantastic quality support. A n Awesome Product with Awesome Support.

Product is sturdy and functions well EXCEPT that a screw was loose when it arrived, fell out, and now the tripod slips down on one of the three sides, making it useless unless used in a totally lowered height. I cannot find how to reach the company for a replacement part.REGETEK, please contact me and tell me how to get a replacement screw for one of the top adjustment levers. It’s a machine screw. Thank you.

I purchased this tripod for creating YouTube videos but ended up using it for my (other hobby) indoor studio portraits as well. The tripod arrived in a timely manner via Amazon. It was professionally packaged to prevent damage. The tripod is heavy and comes with a cover bag which is nice for photoshoots on-location. It can handle my DSLR, Zoom lens, Mic, Panel lights and Ronin S. I've been using it for a couple of months now before leaving a review. It's reliable, sturdy and well-made. The tripod is easily adjustable. I would highly recommend it for professional videographers. Overall, I love this tripod and would highly recommend it. I would definitely buy it again.

I just received this Regetek tripod and I have to say while I haven't field tested it yet, this thing is awesome and worth every penny. Seems extremely sturdy, the fluid head moves very smoothly and reminds me of the pricier options at a fraction of the cost. All this and its pretty light, or about as light as you would want it without sacrificing the sturdiness of it, and the travel case provides some added protection for your new sticks.

Rickety at full extension -- like forget about panning or tilting at full height, the thing just bounces. This is a small surprise because every sliding joint and lock is plastic. The central truss is flimsy, feels like it would be the first thing to break.The tilt lock is more of a tilt break; it's not difficult to tilt the head with the lock as tight as it will go. Panning... Panning is a joke. Tighten the pan lock down and it takes no effort to unscrew the head from the central column. Pan right, tighten it up again, and you can just keep on panning, the lock isn't much of a lock.The lock for the dovetail is sturdy, but a terrible design -- the handle rotates higher than the plate, so any camera rig that extends over the edge of the plate at all blocks it from turning.This thing is a piece of junk and it's going back as soon as UPS opens.
