Sturdy and works in emergencies.
Solid model, accidentally put it through the washing machine and it beasted through, alarm going and everything. Had a boiler incident and it alerted me.

Long lasting detector
Purchased this detector as I have a wood stove and it was easy to setup and was it was advertised with a 10year battery life which others didn't.

Great little unit
I bought this unit for our family Motor Yacht to monitor Carbon Monoxide. It is really easy to install, as it just mounts on two screws on the backplate. As well as monitoring for CO, the unit has a temperature readout, which is a really handy bonus feature. The only minor comment is that the backlight only operates when the alarm sounds. It would have been useful to be able to enable the backlight manually to make the temperature readout easier to see.

Bit hard to tell if its functional unless our boiler starts spewing bad gasses... definitely no signs of CO poisoning and batteries going strong after a number of years now.

Fácil y sencillo de utilizar. Lo pedí por error, ya que lo que buscaba era un detector de CO2 y no de monóxido de carbono como es éste. Devuelto de inmediato, pero funciona muy bien. Recomendable.

The reason that we ordered it was safety - To be warned if carbon monoxide levels in the atmosphere of our apartment become dangerously high. Carbon monoxide kills! Our central heating boiler maintenance company recommended we should install an alarm system. So we identified this unit on Amazon and ordered it.. The speed with which our order was delivered was impressive! It was simple to install. The system test works as advertised. Seems to have been a good buy.
