I make 75 cake pops weekly during football season for cheerleading bake sale and this thinning aid is a must to get the right consistency of my coating. It doesn't change the color or the flavor of the coating. A bit on the expensive side but it works and saves my pops.

Very cool product! Normally i would just use shortening but i heard wonders of these cristals and i really liked them. It is a little expensive for just one thing that i used it. Also, if they are getting delivered to you and they put them in a Parcel locker, go get them ASAP or they will melt really fast and it will be harder to separate portions since its all one big block. Oh, and make sure to put them in a cool dark place, if not put it in the back of your fridge.

The quality was pretty good. It helped them out the icing for dipping, and it melted extremely fast.

This is a game changer for chocolate melt treats. It is well worth the $. Give your dipped treats a flawless smooth finish and keeps your chocolate from ceasing too soon, which avoids remelting over and over. A little goes a long way so it will last.

I tried this for the first time. I debated between it and paramount crystals and the lower price won. It seemed to take a little bit more than the directions but thinned the coating fine for dipping. I've only used it once so far and I'm happy. No taste

So easy to use. It literally looks like thin waffer like pieces of broken white coconut and doesn't add any flavor to my cake pops. I normally keep my chocolate in my warming pot for some time when making cake pops. As you go through creating several and keep adding chocolate, the consistency keeps thickening. I just sprinkle a pinch full into the warmer, or as needed depending on the amount of chocolate used, stir the eazy thin pieces around, wait about 30 seconds, and my chocolate is thin again for dipping. Prior to discovering these, I used the suggested shortening (lard) to thin out the chocolate. While this worked fine, using the shortening is pretty heavy, and in this day and age of healthy eating, I think it causes some upset tummies for those not use shortening, not too mention that it adds unnecessary calories to the already high cake pops. A little goes a long way, but will definitely buy again.
