I use fabric scraps to make magnets for family and friends. They make great unexpected thank-you treats for service providers, too. These are some that I put together this morning.When securing a magnet to a FLAT back, I use flat-backed magnets that fit in the center scored circle on the back of the badge. I secure the magnet with jewelry metal-to-metal glue by applying a bit of glue inside the scored circle. Then I gently drop the magnet atop the glue and press the magnet in place, holding it for 30 seconds. This helps spread the glue throughout the underside of the magnet, giving it full adhesion coverage. If you use too much glue, you should wipe it off as immediately before it dries to give the backside a tidy appearance.A++Lift your finger carefully, so you don't slide the magnet here or there.

I needed this button kit for a diy headboard that I'm making. They are perfect. I'd read some reviews stating that the fit between the shell and back was loose. I did not find this to be the case for me. I used over 60 buttons and the fits were perfect each time. My only finding was that despite using the included tool to actually make the buttons, I found it difficult to press the buttons in and my hands hurt trying to do so . The fabric I used is lightweight, so that wasn't an issue. However, I quickly discovered a remedy that worked for me. Instead of the pressing tool, I used a screw driver. Worked like a charm each time and ensured a snug and secure fit! Other than that issue, I really love the kit.

While I love that these are flat backs it would have been helpful if simple directions were included, specifically which way the flat back piece is to be position in order to correctly and easily assemble. Would buy again

I had to make buttons with fabric and was amazed how many I can make in just 10 minutes! very easy to use.

I used this button cover to make a hat for one of my girls. I wanted to be "puffy" on top so I added a cottonball. That made it tough to push the button cover pieces together, but perseverance won!
