My 2010 F-150 XLT was struggling to fully raise the door lock indicator pin on the inside and wasn’t fully unlocking from the outside. (My truck does not have a keyhole on the outside ofr reference on that passenger door). Installing this part took me about an hour with help from internet how-to guides and it fully solved the problem.However, it wore out a couple months later, and the outdoor door handle was no longer working. You can see in the photo comparing the Ford version of the rod attachment clip (pink with grippy threads inside) vs this cheap Chinese aftermarket one (green, smooth with no threads inside). It turns out without those threads that Ford molds in that there isn’t enough friction long term to keep the outer door latch rod engaged/working.

The clips for the main exterior door handle rod did not work well. So I had to reuse the old clips. Other than that great product.

Bought this part knowing that it is for a door with NO OUTSIDE KEY LOCK (the part with that fuction does look different if you actually do your research and look at them). The part was a direct fit replacement, works like a charm, shipped quicker than anywhere close to me could get it and saved me a bunch of money.
