Best product on the market at any price! Buy a pair for a friend!
Best ice cleats ever and worth the cost. I keep a pair in my car for walking in icey parking lots. They are very easy to use and work well when walking on slippery ice. They do not slide on your shoes so it feels stable

Check to be sure cleats stay snug, don’t over tighten
Best ice slip prevention around men’s or women’s. Worked on the KCS Railroad- Now Retired and lost mine during a move. Replaced them with the same ones the KCS Railway used to Provide to Prevent Injury’s on the job-From Locomotive Engineers to Ground Personal of all Types.!!! Don’t think they use the same ones now due to cost increases which is bad.!!!!Because all the employees loved them and I am sure, Like Me I Recommended them to everyone I knew even people I would me every winter when I would see someone having trouble or were older.!!!!!!! Don’t care how old you are- Broken Bones or Hips or Head Injuries are always possible on ICE.!!!!! Can’t wear them inside unless on carpet.!!! Be Very Very Careful on linoleum very slick and a little slick on concrete inside.!! VERY EASY To PUT On And Take OFF .!!! Once on won’t come loose-just be sure to snug up screws on bottom of cleats occasionally to prevent losing them.!!! Can buy replacement screws though through Amazon or Stabilcers.com Think Stabilicers should approach all Railroads,Fire Departments,Police Departments,Ambulance Departments. I don’t think there would be any problem driving with them on I have done it myself they fit your shoes or boots that well.Wish I could Afford To Buy Them For The Independence Police Department and Fire Department.!!!! Walking on Ice in an Emergency or Fighting A Fire.!! Thanks Amazon and Stabilicers I Am Sixty Seven and Walked Two Full Grown Golden Doodles Today on 1inch of Ice and covered with two inches of snow in places and bare ice in Others.!!! NO PROBLEM Dogs are Twenty Months Old and Love Snow And ICE And Weight 90lbs each and can be a little rambunctious in the snow and Ice.!!!! Rudy Davis Independence Mo.

From the Arctic to Vermont! : )
I bought my first pair of Stabilicers in Fredericton, NB (2008) during an ice storm. They were EXCELLENT and kept me on my feet without slipping on even the iciest surfaces. The extra help they gave me involved their walking over a pair of Stabilicers to me as their then Canadian headquarters were just a couple of doors down from me. This pair of Stabilicers went with me to the Arctic when I went up for 6 years of work there. They endured the harsh climate with a change of "cleats" every couple of years and were still intact when I left them there with a friend as I left the North. Here we are in 2022 and I now live in Vermont. I felt the need to buy another pair of Stabilicers and was delighted to see them for sale on Amazon! I bought a pair of the original Stabilicers for boots AND their newer model for ankle boots or shoes that I wear on the less snowy days. This is a good investment that will last me years to come and keep me from a fall that could break a bone in my senior years. : ) Thank you!

Redesigned from originals and don't work for my boots anymore.
First let me say I have an older set of STABILicers and I find them to be by far the best ice cleats I have ever had. Unlike the rubber-stretch ones these don't pinch your boots or have the rubber or cables to break, and they have awesome traction. That's why I gave them 4 stars. The ones sold here (and everywhere now) have rubber coming up the sides, which would be great if they were wide enough and shaped properly to fit your boot better. They might be good for light hiking boots, but at least where I live it is cold (duh) so people wear heavy insulated boots and pac boots like sorels. As shown in the photos these have been redesigned from the original STABILicers and don't fit my winter insulated boots nearly as well. The old ones didn't have the rubber coming up the sides, and the sole was shaped better to match the boot. The new ones would be great if they were wide enough and shaped in a way that matched the boot, but they are too narrow and as a result don't fit tight. If you had shoes or boots that matched the shape of the new style sold here they would be great. Both of these (new and old) in the photos are size XL, and the Sorel boot is a size 12 and the insulated neoprene boot is a size 13, for reference. You can see for yourself in the photos what I'm talking about - have photos of both the old style and the new style. I have to decide whether to keep them and try to make them work.

The new straps are CHEAP. They broke when I tried to put them on.
The straps on the maxx2 are designed differently than previous versions. They don’t have a thread stitching to add support to where the strap is put together. It seems to be heat pressed together which is cheap and it breaks apart. DO not buy these. And the company really needs to start listening to customers reviews because I’ve read many people having trouble with the straps. The soles are fine the traction works great. The strap systems need redesign and we need something heavy duty that will take abuse and last. As a firefighter these are mandatory every day carry during the winter months for responding to car wrecks. On steep mountain roads trying to get down off the side of a road bank to a wrecked car these are life savers. I can’t afford to not have a pair on my person at all times. So it was very disappointing to need a new pair and find out they will have to be returned. I researched replacement straps, and the straps I found made by stabil had terrible reviews. So I may have to make my own straps if I don’t return them.

Bought for a friend for Christmas. Worn daily for a half hour hike and the grommets have come out of the soles . Reached out to company via email to inquire about grommet replacements and got a bounce back email. Unsure how to contact company. Disappointed

Extremely happy with this product. I keep one pair in the car and one pair in the house. Where we live, it is a must to have to avoid injuries on our sidewalks.

I ordered the recommended size "M" for my US 9 shoe size. The moment I unpacked the cleats I was aghast how huge the entire soles are and was apprehensive WRT the fit. Sure enough, wearing my heaviest winter boots, I can only describe the cleats as enormous and with a 3/4 inch heel section extending the soles of my boots. Although the toe caps fit snugly, the heel part was just another story. Since a long section was extending at the back and no way to adjust the heel straps, I was unable to achieve an adequate fit by just wrapping the straps around my ankles as suggested. You end up with the heel straps forming a big loop and with the rubber flaps staying ajar. So, to overcome this a bit, I had to pull the straps very tightly upward and then wrap them around the top most shaft portion of my boots. Although I understand the need to fit one size for various shoe sizes, these cleats completely fail the target due to lacking means of adjusting the heel straps. What I know now a size "S" would have been more than sufficient. Considering the heavy price tag, I would have expected something better. I have not tested the cleats jet on slippery ice/snow surfaces and hope they live up to their promises. A video I watched from the supplier conveniently left out the back part after fitting. So now we know why.
