Prestige Medical Medimeter, 0.50 Ounce

I carry this in my lab coat pocket. It is a nice, clear, durable plastic and no sharp edges. Nice to reference for a quick measurement. Nice to also show the patient how big something measures or when explaining to them a small basic procedure and showing them how big their skin lesion is.

This arrived surprisingly fast! The plastic is durable, but a bit too large. I didn't realize how big it was. But it does fit perfect in my scrubs pocket. I would just get peper measuring tape for wounds though, infection control. But its fine for measuring bruises and such. A little too much $.

durable feel, easy to clean, just be careful not to rub the numbers/lettering etc. off. Perfect for me as a student.

If you don't know measurements, just realize that it's actually kinda long. I guess I am glad I have this now so I know how long X distance is lol Anywho, strong plastic made, is calibrated, and pretty useful. I haven't tried cleaning it with an alcohol prep or anything so I don't know how long the ink will last but seems to be a great addition to the random things I have in my pocket.

I'm a Family Nurse practitioner and I use this regularly at work! I measure wounds, incisions, rashes, nodules or masses and love that it has the pupil size etc.. I love this little tool and would highly recommend it for any medical personnel!
