Great product! Will be getting another set for gigging...
Bought the combo (one 2 channel transmitter with four receiver packs, one 2 channel transmitter with two receiver packs) for my studio. Wanted to remove the need for wired headphones, but didn't want to break the bank to do it. Since I am fairly well isolated (RF and other signal wise) I wanted to see if these products would work for my needs vs. the $3k setup I had looked at originally. The transmitters racked up easily and quickly, the transmitters are easy to configure for various frequencies and the receivers are just as simple. And, best of all, they work! I have had several bands come in since deploying these, as well as my own band using them for rehearsals, and as soon as I dial in the monitor mix for each channel and pass out the receivers, everyone can hear themselves and their bandmates without issue. And, the performances are improved from that factor alone. I am no longer using my monitor wedges nor my wired headphones/headphone amps at all.Now that they have proven their mettle, I am looking to buy two more transmitters and a couple more body packs so that I can have a portable set up for when my band gets back to playing out. Not sure I can go back to wedges again after this. For the price, which was about 1/5th the cost of the comparable system I was pricing out from a name brand (and after getting to do a side by side comparison with one band who had come through with their own IEMS) I am more than pleased with the product. And, so far, after about 4 months of use, I would say that the receivers are pretty efficient on battery power. I am using rechargeable AA batteries and have only had to swap them out once so far with almost weekly use (multiple days/week).I guess being willing to buy these again for gigging really says it all. They do what they advertise and for a cost that fits into my budget allowing me to spend the balance of what I would have on other outboard gear.

Cheap does the job. Entry level solution
The sound quality is ok. There is some humming or hissing but when music playing it's not noticable. Good range of output as long as you use a good quality earphone. The stick earphones that come with it distort at loud volumes. Easy to setup and control. My one main negative gripe which I sooooo wish Xtuga would sort out is that the unit has a Left and Right input per channel but... Only sends to receiver as mono. This unit "could" have been the best if Xtuga found a way to split Left and Right so that you can either hear stereo in your monitors or separate the left and right into individual mono sends per receiver pack. Basically creating 4 individual sends/mixes using 2 UHF channel frequencies. Senheisser does this on their units.Other than that this was a great investment. It does the job and works well.

But this!!! You won’t be disappointed!
This thing rocks! Great price for an introduction to in ear monitoring. The transmitter does accept stereo inputs, but the receiver/pack is mono. Simple to set up, and clear sound. There is a reduction in bass, but nothing too problematic.I ordered the dual transmitter, four pack combo, but was sent one with 2 packs. The seller was quick to remedy the situation. Overall great but!

Buy these and DO NOT LOOK BACK!
I ordered these after a lengthy review of units. I am comparing these directly with the first unit i bought and returned immediately (galaxy 1100). The galaxy i bought had interference and 1 pack burned the first day i had it, back it went.I came across these and I asked a few questions, the people from rocket audio answered extremely fast and i thought i'd take a chance. The unit was EXTREMELY well packed. My recommendation is to buy these and DO NOT LOOK BACK! they are as described, extremely well built the signal is clear and the signal does not breakdown from room to room ( approx 30-50').There are ear buds included that are really a step up! they are angled for ear fit and really a nice fit/feel and sound. The packs are solid and have a lot of volume to them. The only lacking item is a better instruction manual as i am knew to in ear monitors, i don't understand "channels" and "groupings" so i have written to the people at rocket and hope to get a better understanding and if history repeats they will be right on my q's!In short I am very happy and impressed!I am using these in a 6 pc cover band, i bought 2 rw 2080's (8 packs total)""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""ok so the rocket people were attentive in the beginning and when i bought and had questions they left me hanging... that being said i pressed enough buttons over a few days and figured out how they work ( groupings and channels). so in theory they are " intuitive" if your patient. still a value though, and way better than galaxy 1100. i am still happy with the product even though rocket dropped the ball:(

Take Note of FREQUENCY RESPONSE
The attached image shows an EQ of a snare hit during the first verse of "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson. The top half is a Direct Input (DI) recording (blue) , the lower half is a In-Ear Monitor (IEM) recording (red). As you can see, the IEM has a low cut below 100 Hz. It's also lacking a little bit in the mid-range, which noticeably affects audio quality.***NOTE: The waveforms in the image don't reflect gain structuring. I gain structured both recordings so that they peak at -6 dB, that way the EQ for both recordings are at the same volume. What I'm satisfied with:This IEM system works properly, as described. What I'm dissatisfied with:1. The frequency response of the receiver is poor, and cuts almost anything below 100 Hz out. This means that you won't ear the boom-iness of the kick or bass.2. Fuzz in the audio with any signal input. To clarify, any time there's an audio signal (a song, an instrument, whatever) being transmitted, the receiver hisses. If all mixer channels are muted, it's silent-- but as soon as there's audio detected, the receiver hisses. It's not overwhelming, but it results in poorer quality audio.WHO I RECOMMEND THIS TO:I recommend this system for (1) Bands on a tight budget who don't need/care about quality of audio, and (2) speakers, who only need to hear queues (or whatever), and the quality doesn't matter.
