My mare started this supplement two years ago when she fractured her coffin bone, it was a recommendation of our lameness vet. Worked like a charm, aided her in healing faster than expected and we have kept her on it "for good measure" ever since! It does have an odor but she's not a picky eater, I still think most horses would eat these tiny pellets without issue.
