Two years of daily use and I can say the following:Summary: The greatest multi-use, NON non-stick (but seriously non stick without the cancer causing chemicals), heavy use, from range top to hot oven, pans on the market.Pros- all the pieces are very well made, solid and firm- all the pieces remain stainless through daily use - they are beautiful in fact. No permanent stains.- when people come over and use my cookware, they are impressed- because the entire piece is steel, you can go from the range top right into the oven to get different texture on whatever you are cooking.- This set has everything I need as a person who regularly cooks for two to four- Given its performance for the last 24 months, I expect it to last for years.- I dropped one of the lids on the floor and the glass did not break- A friend of mine who is a chef told me that this kit is chef-grade. By this, he meant the pieces could be used over and over, for hours a day, on the range or in the oven, and endure it just fine.- I am a no-stick kind of guy but refuse to poison myself with teflon. Prior to buying the t-fal, I tried ceramic lined (too easily damaged and you lose the no-stick at high temps) , ceramic (becomes sticky at higher temps) cast iron (annoying maintenance), copper (way too pricey and requires maintenance) and glass (eh, what's the point?). This kit beats them all, hands down.- Excellent Price- Even, consistent heat distribution- Easy to store- The shine is NOT just in the photo. They really sparkle.Cons -I wish T-fal made everything (silverware, cups, appliances) for my kitchen so I would never have to consider any other brands again

I recently moved from a roommate situation where I had to share a kitchen and cookware. This was very frustrating as our cookware was of the non-stick variety. As a professional chef I really hate non-stick cookware. A good non-stick egg pan is the only use I have for non-stick cookware. When I started setting up my kitchen I decided to purchase this set after several days of research. A return to stainless steel cookware was a must for me and considering the price of All Clad brand cookware I had to find a well built, reasonably priced alternative. This set has not disappointed in any way. A major prerequisite for me was the ability to go from stove top to oven. This set is rated oven worthy to 500 degrees without the lids and 350 degrees with lids. Exactly what I need for my day to day cooking. I have cooked several recipes and meals using different pieces of this set and couldn't be happier with the overall quality and performance. Cleaning has been what I expected of stainless steel. A good stainless cleanser is definitely recommended to maintain the beautiful appearance of this set. If you are upgrading from non-stick there may be a bit of a learning curve, but it's worth it and your cookware will last much longer and you will never have to worry about scratching or injesting that coating again. I'm thrilled as I get professional cooking results in a home cookware set that looks great in my home.

We received this set as a wedding gift but I added it our Amazon registry after doing a good bit of research. We have a gas stove and I am a semi-professional chef and wanted solid cookware at home. They feel sturdy and durable in your hand and stack decently compact in the cabinet.I have used them to make everything from delicate sauces and to make every day mashed potatoes and have found them to be perfect. They are moderately heavy (in a good way) and distribute heat well. I like that all of the lids are glass and the steamer basket is great. The one thing I wish it included was a pasta basket for the large stock pot. Other than that, I highly recommend this set!

I've had this set for a few months and I am very pleased with my purchase. It has worked very well and I feel like I got a lot of pieces for my money. It is heavier than I thought, which is good. Cleaning it isn't a problem, just a little more work. I like to keep it looking shiny and new so I use Bon Ami after I use it. Keeps it looking great!

In our kitchen we COOK. Soups, stirfrys, country style dinners, Italian, Philippine, Mexican. We have tried cast iron which is great for somethings, Anodized which worked great for about a year and then started to wear out, and various others over the years. I wanted something that would last that I could add to but not have to replace. Enter stainless steel. These are working beyond my expectations. I have the glass lids so I'm able to watch progress on different items without letting out the heat. Easy clean up and after a month, looks just like when I received them.There are things you have to be aware of on these pans. Our stove is gas so these work extremely well. You preheat the pan on low before adding any butter or oil and then once the pan is coated add what you're cooking. You will increase the heat some but I would not go above medium. Medium low will bring water to a boil in the sauce pans in a short amount of time. You want to wait until you are cooking to add salt because it will pit the finish. You also want to clean while the pan is warm with warm water - Scotchbrite sponge with the non-scratch pad works well.We have all fallen in love with these pans and would recommend them. We did get some silicone handle covers but it appears that cooking on the lower heat makes the handles heat up slower. I do use the handle covers anyway because I hate burning myself.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Do not buy. First one I bought was not non stick like it said. I’ve never ever ever seen bacon stick to any pan. So we sent it back. Got another one to replace it and that set was already used. Not packaged properly. Scratches and dents in the pans. Stains on the pots and pans. So bad. God they suck. macy’s is the place to go not them.
