These days it's hard to find a band that's grown organically, by word of mouth and non-stop touring, winning kids over one show at a time. Man Overboard is that band. They have toured the world with Senses Fail, Polar Bear Club and Set Your Goals. The buzz reached New Found Glory's guitarist Steve Klein who fell in love with their infectious sound. He was so impressed with the band that he offered to produce the bands Rise debut. Man Overboard is humbled by their success, and it's only the beginning as they prepare to tour with New Found Glory, Set Your Goals and The Wonder Years this fall.

I LOVE MAN OVERBOARD
I love Man Overboard and the CD was delivered much quicker than it said it would be which is a total plus. I'd been needing this CD for a long time and I finally have it! It sucks that I can't see them at Warped Tour this year though.

Great Album
After missing Warped Tour this year (curse you scheduling conflicts) I went on a little cd shopping spree to cheer me up. Best decision I've made in a long time. This is a great cd to listen to on repeat--trust me I know. I highly recommend it.

Man Overboard carries Blink 182's torch....
Great pop/punk/alternative rock! They're inspired by Blink, and it shows in their sound. There are some nice gems on this album!

This band is helping keep POP PUNK alive!
First of all, this album will not be for everyone. I know that sounds like a stupid thing to say considering music is different for everyone, but if you like pop punk, this album is for you.Man Overboard is a great example of the a DIY (do it yourself) band. They are prolific, hard working, and self suficiant. They tour a lot and have a very stong online presence.I should talk about the music since this is a review, right?This album is by far thier best SOUNDING album. The production is really slick. Their past efforts sounded good as well, but had more of a garage band sound to it (which sometimes add's tot he experience). This album has a much higher quality sound to it. Is that good or bad? Thats up to you I suppose. The one consistant thing (or things I guess) are the quality of song. This band has a very extensive catalog despite not being around that long, yet they are still able to write fresh, catchy song. Highlights include:RARE,Night Feelings,Somthings weird,Picture Perfect,Teleport...GIve those songs a listen and you get a good feeling for the album.Again, this cd will not be for everyone. If you don't like pop punk, I don't think it will change your mind. But if you DO like Pop punk, or maybe like pop punk but are not fimiliar with where the genre is since NFG or Blink were big, check this out. It will remind you why you liked it in the first place.
