I have many other sax mouthpieces that cost 10 or even 20 times more and all have their unique sound but I believe your student will not be disappointed with this purchase. All in all good mouthpiece for the money.
Good mouthpiece for a beginner or trying out an instrument. Quality of the reed included could be better and maybe affecting the sound. Reed is rough and not trimmed completely. I am not a saxophone player and wanted the mouthpiece and reed to give a “found”saxophone a try.

The mouthpiece was as described. I bought if for a teenage saxophone player and he was quite pleased with it.

Bought this Buffet Crampon Dynaction on a whim. Threw this mouth piece on and sounded decent. Great buy both alto and mouth piece. Getting started definitely no loss.

It's excellent for beginners.. it's got a similar feel as a 3C or 4C Yamaha . It's a great start for newbs to get consistent tone without crazy effort. Learn with this. And then upgrade ...

Love this kit! It works very well and is sturdy (thickness) this was definitely worth the money!
