Blue collar, but bleed yellow! Unrivaled Power and Precision DEWALT Pneumatic Impact Wrench
I recently added the DEWALT 3/8" Pneumatic Impact Wrench to my toolbox, and I must say, it has quickly become an incredible asset for any project requiring substantial torque and precision. As a seasoned DIY handyman and amateur automotive mechanic, I've had my fair share of experiences with various impacts, and this DEWALT model stands out in several key aspects. The performance of the DEWALT 3/8" Pneumatic Impact Wrench is nothing short of Beast mode. Whether loosening stubborn lugs or tightening small nuts, the tool consistently delivers the right amount of torque for the job. The pure air power is nothing like my cordless impact! You may be red or blue blooded, but I believe DEWALT's mellow yellow reputation for producing durable tools holds especially true with this impact wrench. The tough construction and high-quality materials inspire confidence in its longevity. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip during extended use, and the overall build quality reflects the brand's producing of reliable tools. The only minor issue is the heavy weight, which might feel slightly heavy during prolonged use, but I'm sure you're a big tough blue collar worker that is used to industrial machinery. FYI, be sure to get a tight seal on the quick connect fitting! The DEWALT Pneumatic Impact Wrench is soooo user-friendly. The air inlet is conveniently located at the bottom for quick and hassle-free connections, and doesn't need unnecessary buttons or settings. It's a tool that gets the job done quickly and efficiently without unnecessary complications.Considering its performance, tough durability, and ease of use, the DEWALT Pneumatic Impact Wrench offers exceptional value for your dollars. Excellent tool (works with smaller compressor)
1/2" drive... I was concerned that my compressor wouldn't run this tool as I needed it to do. I bought this basically to remove a wheel from my car from time to time. My compressor is a 10-gallon, 135 PSI that puts out 4 SCFM at 90psi... I ran the compressor until it shut off at 135psi. Hooked up the impact gun to my 3/8" air hose and it had no problem putting out the needed air to remove 5 lug nuts on my car. In fact, the compressor never kicked on while I removed the lug nuts. This impact gun zipped off the lug nuts with no trouble at all. This gun is quality and power in one unit. I wanted to post info about my compressor size because I didn't see many reviews that talked about compressors used with this tool. If you have a smaller sized compressor similar to mine and you're wondering if it'll work, it will definitely run this tool on lug nuts.Another note is that this came with a 1/4 in NPT male fitting to use with the air gun, however, I always like to use Milton fittings on my air tools. They are high quality, and I never had a problem with any Milton fittings. So instead of using the fitting that came with this gun, I installed a Milton (V-style) fitting. The V-styles are considered 'high flow' fittings. I don't know if this made a difference in how the tool worked for me because I didn't try it with the standard flow fitting that came with it but I think it would be fine. If not you can always pick up a V-style Milton fitting for a few bucks if needed.... I hope this review helps. I recommend this impact wrench for anyone looking for a well built and highly capable impact wrench.

I gave it a couple of drops of oil (also included) and put it on it's lowest power setting and it cranked all the bolts out like
I bout this impact wrench to replace my current one which is supposedly rated for 350ft-lbs. However, my old one couldn't remove lug nuts from my truck and didn't stand a chance against the axle hub nuts on a set on 1-ton Dana 60 axles I have for a project truck. When this one arrived I threaded on the included fitting (which already had some kind of PTFE coating applied to the threads). I gave it a couple of drops of oil (also included) and put it on it's lowest power setting and it cranked all the bolts out like they were finger tight. Here's some things to consider if you're looking at a good impact wrench. This impact wrench generates a lot of torque with a relatively small amount of air flow (compared to other impacts). If you have a big compressor with 1/2 hose and 3/8" fittings, then none of that matters cause you have plenty of air flow. For guys like me using smaller compressors, I'm betting that nearly everyone has 1/4" fittings. So you've got 90 psig, but you may be starved for volume. I suspect that's why my other impact couldn't produce 350 ft-lbs, since it used almost double the cfm as this one.The ergonomics of this unit feel good. Not too heavy, or bulky. The power settings are on the back and work well. The forward and reverse button is easy to use, but can also be easy to accidentally nudge with your hand as your maneuvering. Not a big deal though in my opinion. Most of the black seen in the picture is a rubber like compound. It's good for providing some cushioning when setting the driver down. But it seems to pick up dirt pretty easily. Also, not a big deal to me.All in all this is a great unit!

Very smooth, affordable, great choice!
Use it daily in auto industry. I find the matco 1/2 air tool too jerky and unpredictable. This tool is much more affordable and though it may not have thr break away that the top dollar air powered tools have its a fantastic choice for anyone who is getting into automotive or needs am 1/2in impact for their home.My one complaint is the grip has moved on me from years of use but it is not a big issue.I want to add Dewalt did a great job with the internals of this impact. It's extremely smooth breaking and fastening.
