Q: My older dog has been slipping on our hardwood floors. Someone recommended conditioning her pads to help with this. Has that worked for anyone?

I don’t think so. But as a professional dog groomer I’ve seen some older dogs with nail applications that really help. They like, glue around the nail base and help grip floors.

I use this Paw Soother for just day to day moisturizing when I feel his paws getting roughed up. On the back it reads: "Frequent use will speed recovery", in case you want to try it to help heal the current tear.
