GE WB48K5019 Lower Oven Rack for Oven

I wrote my above review first, that's why the change "in stars" I don't hate either the General Electric, Hotpoint WB48T10011! Again, the lack of stars is only because it didn't fit my oven and their return policy (which for the other rack I think I said warranty policy) basically said I was out of luck.Here is a copy of the review I wrote for the above-referenced product.The Rack was in perfect condition, however, probably my fault, it was too wide for my oven. I viewed their return policy...and not only have to travel to the Post Office (my only option is on a Saturday before 12 pm because of where I live; and, actually the main reason is because I have to pay for the shipping, as well, and can't order a replacement that might work. In case you wondered, yes, I did measure the oven rack before I ordered. Right, now, I'm thinking about using them as a plant shelf between two milk crates on my patio...Anyways, my "one star" rating is only because of the above. If you've ordered oven racks before and know what you're doing (obviously unlike me),I would recommend this very highly. Moved into a rental house, where the oven only had one rack in the oven. Not knowing much of the oven model, I was having a hard time knowing which one was needed. No measurements in listings that defined the actual rack/maybe with packaging. A review said to count the number of prongs or whatever they are called, it worked like a charm. Just the one we needed! Ship a bit slow, but once arrived it was packaged well and worked fine.

I was worried about this item when I placed my order. The model number that I researched in order to get the correct item number for this shelf rack differed slightly when I did my search on Amazon. Although most of these shelves look the same, they don't all fit every stove that you might need them for. I did a search on Amazon.com for the correct part number, and was referred to this part instead. Took a chance, ordered the item anyway, it arrived the day BEFORE the earliest shipping date posted with the order, and best of all, it FIT!!! Excellent item, no defects found, works great!

I needed an extra oven rack. Tried Home Depot and Lowe's to no avail. My philosophy is, "If Amazon doesn't have it, I don't need it." Of course Amazon had a lot to choose from, and unfortunately, none of them came with measurements, and my stove is so old it doesn't have a model number. I read a review on one of the other racks which said to count the grids on your present rack and match that number to one that has the same number of grids. Voila! It arrived, it fit perfectly! So, if you're looking for an oven rack, the method of counting the grids should work for you too. Thanks, Amazon!

Easy Off makes oven cleaning easier, unless you forget to take out the racks and the cleaner etches the chrome finish. Guess what I did? Yep, so in an effort to keep the peace in the house, I ordered one replacement rack - just in case it wasn't a good match, and only one was bad enough to be replaced. The replacement was identical (except it looked new). If there's a momentary price drop, I may replace the other original.

May not be your experience, but the weld tack where it comes together came apart the first time I used it. Fortunately I have a welder friend who fixed it with a quick zap. It's fine now and just as good as any other rack.

I bought this because my grandma had just bought a house and the stove had NO racks in the oven. This is the ONLY place I could find a rack for her make and model. This was shipped so fast. It was exactly what we needed. So far it has been used about every day and it is perfect.

These work really good. I have a home run bakery so I use 3 of these racks in my oven. It strong and easy to clean. One problem it should have been a little cheaper because I live in Trinidad which is in the Caribbean cost me a lot to bring it home. Still Love it. They arrive early @ my Miami Skybox Address.
