Sodium Content? HIGH
HIGHLY recommend you cut this 50% with some canned black beans or something, otherwise way too salty. Makes a great topping for salt-free things like unsalted pasta, unsalted rice, unsalted bread, unsalted grits, or baked white potatoes. All-in-all a good quick meal, but needs a salt free starch addition to it, to make it pleasant to eat.

Pretty good chili.
Better than their vegetarian chili, which I don't like. The vegetable protein pieces are good sized and chewy. Very tasty. There are a good amount of beans and they have good texture. There is something in it, however, that has a mushy texture, but not sure what that is (tomato pieces?). I don't like that at all. The base is thick and helps to make this a filling chili. Price-wise, this is the best vegetarian chili for the money I have found. Amy's is better but not worth the difference in price. I will probably only buy Amy's in the future for vegan chili dogs. This will be my goto chili from now on.

Yum comfort food.
My non-vegan boyfriend loves these as much as I do, if not more. They're delicious! Also, they pair well with Late July multi grain chips.

Simply the best vegetarian chili you will ever have in a can
This is hands-down, my favorite canned chili. I love it so much that it’s worth ordering online from Amazon in bulk. It’s super hard to find so much so that I am embarking on a vegetarian chili recipe of my own, but I’m sure it won’t be any better than this is.

You won't miss the meat.
I make my own vegan chili but I like to support companies that are adding vegan products to their lines, so I thought I would try Hormel's Plant-Based Chili. I was leery to buy a dozen cans in the event I didn't like it, but it is very good! Most vegan chilis I've tried are too tomato-soupy and overloaded with chili powder and cumin. I do like my chili to be slightly sweet like baked beans, so I add a little brown sugar to this product. The entire can is 1 serving, under 300 calories, low-fat, and provides 22g of protein. It's a very convenient, $2.50 lunch.

Is chili in a can!
Not nearly as good as the vegetarian plant-based chili. The other one is much more flavorful and not so chunky.
