Is this a good toy for toddlers?

It would definitely be an interesting toy for toddlers to observe and play with while with adults. This specific brand of expandable ball broke within 10 minutes of my 10-year-old son playing with it. He was not crazy with it at all it is just made with very brittle plastic. I returned it.It is definitely not a toy for a toddler to play by themselves as they could possibly pinch a finger.

do they have to be put together or are they already ?

Luckily these come put together. I can't imagine how difficult this would be to put together.

Since it's plastic, warm water and soap are fine. Anything that can be used to clean plastic should be fine. I just rinse it in warm water.
