This is AMAZING
The media could not be loaded. Okay, so I spent years thinking about buying this dish rack. Reading reviews, mulling it over, deciding against it, forgetting about it...getting frustrated with cheap dish racks...and the cycle continued. So, a friend of mine got it and loved it. Still, six months later I was skeptical. Then, the time came to throw out yet another cheap plastic dish drainer and with my husbands backing I went for it. Boy oh boy, I am not disappointed. This thing is the rolls royse of dish racks. It is huge and fits a ton. It is fashionable with our stainless appliances. It's absolutely self contained and drainage works flawlessly. We have it on the left of our sink, so narrow edge is facing out and cup holders are facing toward sink, and we like it that way. Some people complained that it didn't sit with the longway facing out on the left side of sink, but that does not bother us. The wine rack is amazing and we use it to dry kiddy cups or small Tupperware when no wine glasses are hanging on it. I have had it a little over two months and have taken it apart and cleaned it once. So far I feel it is easy to clean. I don't see what the complaints are about. Dish racks must be cleaned regularly. They are a place where water drains and sometimes stands. You have to maintain it. The only part I didn't remove and clean was the little rubber piece that runs along the inside edge of the whole rack. It looks like it may be removable. It will be something i will investigate at the 6 month mark. I plan to give it a good cleaning once a month...which is less than I had to clean the cheap plastic ones out. At least this one is grey inside so doesn't look nasty even if it is somewhat dirty. All and all, this product performs, is easy to use, looks fabulous, has a five year warrenty! Who can beat that! After this one beats it..we will buy another, or have it replaced for free under warrenty. It's a win win situation. I was a little hesitant because of the height of the rack. We have cabinets on each side of our sink. Even with the cabinets we have plenty of space to put in cutting boards and large pots. For our family of 4 this rack does the work. I hand wash a lot as well because we have a million kids cups and plates that we don't use the dishwasher for. We really only run the dishwasher about 2 to 3 times a week. So our simple human helps get the rest of the job done. If you are on the fence...do it! And don't forget to register it on simple humans website so you can use the warrenty.

Best rack ever! I bought TWO!
I spent days looking at dish drains, considering all the needs I had-I needed a unit that would fit in the very specifically sized space to the right of my sink.-It HAD to drain into the sink, OVER the tall. 1/2" lip of my sink (The drain portal flips from front to side depending how you set it by the sink) Very nice. Plenty of clearance over the tall lip.-For me It had to have longer sides then deep to fit the space-It had to be big enough that I could really FILL IT UP. So many models were so smallish. I have huge dinner plates and needed a place for large pan lids and big bowls. This unit holds them all! Those were the basic needs.ADDITIONALLY, I hang an additional long silverware drainer, (salvaged from an old dishwasher), on the outside to accommodate all the silver and longer and shorter tools . The BEAUTIFUL THING IS, this unit has a tray that sticks out right there intended to catch water from side- hanging glasses, then drains it right into the sink. PERFECT!!! A rare feature-I wanted a place to store flexible cutting mats after washing.. There is a very nice wine glass rack area, also with a water catching tray, on the end that is perfect for that. Holds them allIt had to be easy to clean. It is VERY EASY to clean! Additionally it comes with optional rubber leg covers to slip over the 4 metal legs to raise it up even higher and protect the metal feet from water, so you can easily see the space under the rack and appreciate how dry and clean it stays. NO accumulated gross water anywhere! It looks beautiful, it is sturdy and made with high quality materials and I could not be happier. In fact, after a couple months of very satisfied use, it occurred to me that in 4 or 5 years of daily use, time might take a toll and odds were I would NEVER find such a great dish drain again. What if they changed the design? Or it wasn't as well made? Or the company went out of business? !!!Things happen, companies change and I didn't want to chance it.So I thought I'd better buy another unit NOW and store it in the garage for that future time.It was worth the insurance because I just imagined how disappointed the future ME would be if I I couldn't replace this BEAUTIFUL dish drain.New Review! 4/26/2021--- 1 Year Later. How has this dish drain held up? Any complaints?NONE!I am as happy as I was a year ago! Some people have reported rust problems. I have seen NO rust.I live in the the Southwest, so maybe a drier climate has something to do with it?I load this thing up daily, When it comes time to deep clean, I fill a glass with soapy bleach water and pour it into the unit. swish surfaces and then a hot water rinse. It all pours into the sink and looks as good as new.I am very pleased with this huge draining rack and so happy I have another one in reserve.

The Cadillac of Dish Racks
Who would have thought I would ever spend $80 on a dish rack...not me. But I am glad I did. My son is tired of me saying how much I love my new dish rack. I think he wants to take away my man card.I do all my washing by hand as it's just my son and I, so having a good dish rack IS a big deal. I had one I thought was the bomb I got from my daughter, but then I saw the one she got for a wedding gift, I had to have one. I could just not pull the strong considering the price. But I did and have no regrets. This thing is awesome. It's large and holds a ton of dishes with no toppling over, it drains all of the water away so no more smelly dish pan cloth to contend with, and it looks cool as heck. Another item Tim Taylor would give two grunts. I like the clips for holding glasses and extra holders for utensils - three in total. One thing missing is a wooden insert to hold knives. Would be a nice addition. I took the one from my old dish rack and it fit nicely into one of the three compartments. I don't, or haven't used the wine rack, but I can see how that would be nice if you had a lot of stemmed wine glasses to clean.I know some reviewers have had issues with rust, but I have not experienced any of that....well not yet anyway. I suspect it's a QC issue and isolated to a few units. For me, this was worth every penny and I can definitely say this is the Cadillac of dish racks and you get what you pay for.Gets my highest recommendation.
