With the Vigor2760 Delight series, high VDSL bandwidths can be optimally utilised. In addition, full backward compatibility with the various ADSL standards ensures stable and secure Internet connections. As an alternative to ADSL/VDSL, LAN port 4 can be set up as an Ethernet WAN interface. For example, external modem types (for cable Internet or Internet via satellite) can also be connected. In addition, one of the two USB interfaces is available as an internet backup. For this purpose, an Internet connection via 3.5G or LTE is established via a compatible mobile USB stick. With the integrated VDSL vectoring technology, bandwidth up to 100 Mbps can be realized in downstream and 40 Mbps upstream. Vectoring also ensures a higher quality of VDSL connection. This also enables locations to be supplied with VDSL that have not yet been able to benefit from fast bandwidths due to cable interference. The Vigor2760 Delight series has also been optimized for the new IPTV television technology. IPTV broadcasts the contents of each TV channel via IP packets. This means that not only a wide range of TV channels are available, but also the quality is excellent, especially in the high resolution HDTV TV. The Vigor2760 Delight series hardware has been specially adapted to meet the needs of high bandwidths and low packet runtime (latency). The four Gigabit LAN ports and IEEE 802.11n (N models) WLAN allow clients to benefit from high bandwidth and low latency in both wired and wireless networks. This is ideal for multimedia applications such as online gaming, streaming services, IPTV or Internet telephony.
