I love the idea of this potting mat. It’s very functional and does catch all the dirt well, and is big enough to hold tools and potting materials. The problem is that the tarp is a thin material and the snaps are not holding. I had to re-send the product back, because in the last one I ordered, the snap ripped half-off on the first use, as I was un-snapping it. This second one has a snap that was also starting to push through the tarp, even though I buttoned and un-buttoned the snaps as carefully as possible. I’ve resigned myself to just leaving the snaps closed, and not having as neat of a folded mat, when I’m finished.I’m keeping it, because it is very useful, but I’m not happy that the product is so poorly made that it rips open on the first use. This is definitely avoidable if the manufacturer used a stronger tarpmaterial, and/or better sewing methods.I don’t know if the other brands that I saw are as poorly made, but I would suggest trying a different brand if you want to be able to snap and un-snap, fold and unfold the tarp easily.The succulent tools are all very useful, and not problematic. But if you’re interested in a sturdy tarp, this is not the product you want.

This set is wonderful. It has EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR YOUR PLANT BABIES! The tools are sturdy and useable and needed by anyone who has smaller indoor plants of any kind. Everything came exactly like the pictures show them. The blue matt works beautifully to contain your mess. It’s waterproof too. The corners snap together to bring the sides up so even a little wet spill can easily be contained. When you’re done you just shake it out outside, clean it with a damp cloth, fold it up n store till the next time you’re in the mood to get a little green thumb action going. I store the matt and the tools in a bag in my laundry room. It takes very little room.P.S. The matt really comes in handy for other uses too.

All the pieces of this set are good for any houseplant lover. My kids have taken to wanting to help with gardening and with tending the houseplants. These little tools are great for their small hands -- and for potting/transplanting small plants.The tarp is great to catch the dirt whether you're inside on carpet or outside on concrete so you don't make a mess. The only thing in the set that wasn't that great were the little trimmer scissor things. It came with a big gash in one of the sharp sides so it would always get caught on that instead of cutting anything. Otherwise, the set is nice for the cheap price I got it for.

I was just looking for a basic tarp like cloth to lay down so I can pot some plants. The tools were a bonus to me but so much better than I thought they would be and very handy!! The work cloth is big enough to house everything while I work and kept all the dirt in until I was finished and shoveled it back into the bag. Highly recommend for folks in apartments/small spaces for working on house plants or patio plants.

They are definitely not the best quality tools around but for that price, it's a great deal.I love using the green tarp when repotting my succulents as it prevents the soils to go all over my apartment floor.Not sure why they are two small shovels in there (1 blue and 1 brown) - my bad for not checking properly before placing my order.The water bottle does leak at times because the screw thread is minimal, but not a deal breaker in my opinion.

its very cutesie - gave to my daughter for her new pandemic plant love but she only uses the mat - the tools are tiny and cute and best for your nieces' dolls. took a while to arrive but price was good.

I bought this pad to use for re-potting plants in my apartment, and it is perfect for that purpose. It was large enough for multiple plants on my counter top, and kept the space clean while I worked. It also came with some small tools which was okay (one of the shears rusted after one use). Nice kit for urban dwellers!

This made repotting all my succulents SO much easier and cleanup was a breeze. I’m thrilled with this kit.
