sadly disappointed
I loved Nash in book 1. He cracked me up. I am looking forward to his book!Sadly, I was disappointed. My reviews of the first two books reminded me that I was looking forward to this book. I do remember wanting to find out Nash's story. But I don't really remember much past that.My issue with this book is the reason behind Nash's emotional state being kept hidden. I understand why authors do this, but the hinting at the reason without giving away the actual reason is a bit much in this book. Sometimes this much build up leaves me deflated when I finally find out what really did go on. It leaves me thinking, is that it? I didn't quite feel like that with this book, but the way the reveal came about still left me feeling meh.I think we could get to the actual reason for Nash's anger if he and Velvet stopped having sex for two seconds and actually talked about something other than Nash's dick. That poor girl has got to be raw by now. It truly was a bit much. Both Nash and Velvet had so much going on emotionally, separate from each other, and yet when together it was purely physical. I didn't feel like they joined on an emotional level at all. I rated this a 3 but it may actually be lower than that. I found myself rushing through to get to the end so I could move on to the next book I had waiting.

A Heart Stolen
For two people who don't do relationships, Nash and Velvet sure were drawn to each other....Some of the greatest relationships are based on deep rooted friendships that can withstand any hurdles thrown at it.Isn't that what we all want?Isn't it human nature to want to connect to another human being on every level imaginable? To find that one person who understand and sees the person that may be hidden under layers of hurt and pain?Velvet may be broken, but she still has the amazing ability to love others. For Nash, she may be the one woman who can literally save him from the demons that live inside his mind and inside his heart. She could be the wild card he can't control. I love a strong woman who doesn't let a man railroad her and Velvet has attitude and toughness that would not only turn a man on, but would also severely unravel him to the point of irritation. She matches Nash wit for wit and doesn't bat an eye.I am absolutely IN LOVE with Revive!!! I devoured it!!! Nash---yeah---that man has completely stolen my heart. When I think about Nash, he still has that same dirty mouth and that same crass sarcasm and that same charisma I liked from the first book, but now, I see his heart. I feel his vulnerability and I feel his pain but through all of that, Nash has an amazing capacity to love. He loves honestly, he loves hard and he loves true!!

Nash and Velvet
Revive is the story of Nash and Velvet, and what a great story! Nash has some demons contained within that he feels as though he will never get free, and vows to never let another woman do to him what his ex-wife, Gabrielle has done to him. His life came to a halt one fateful day, Velvet helps him come to terms with what his ex wife did to him and supports him with the guilt he still carries over the death if his son. He hasn't opened up to anyone about his past, until Velvet!!!. Velvet is a stripper at Storm's club Indigo, and she actually likes her job, but she knows that it can't last forever, and she is trying to make herself a better person. Her ex-husband James torn down all her love, her self confidence, and self esteem. His abuse was brutally verbal, and brought Velvet nearly to her knees. She has worked very hard to make herself the woman she knows she is, and it has taken putting on a mask of control and toughness to get her through those difficult days. Nash and Velvet have been flirting with each other for a long time, and Nash likes talking about sex and about certain body parts. They both are afraid that having sex together would spoil their friendship but it as bound to happen and when it does it is way more than either of them thought it would be. They have some ups and downs as they determine what it is they have or want. I have to say the sex scenes are HOT! HOT!! If you want to know more you need to read the book. I loved this book!! I recommend that you read this series in order which is Storm MC Series Order is; Storm , Fierce, Blaze, Revive!!

A Five star heart reviving read!!!!!
This is book three of Nina Levine's Storm MC series and what a book it is!! Please read previous title's Storm, Fierce & Blaze before reading Revive.I for one have always loved Nash Walker's character. His flirting, humour and genuine love for his biker family shines through in previous books. But I've been curious as to what drove him to drink and sleep through women at the rate I drink coffee!Nash Walker appears to be a confident, cocky, carefree playboy but inside he's a cyclone of anger, insecurity, guilt and hurt. Velvet, a stripper at Indigo and the woman who he's been friends with for four years sees another damaged soul and wants to help him heal. She has her own past which makes her guard her heart as much as Nash does, betrayal, lies and doubt from vicious Ex husbands can do that to a woman. They find solace in friendship, an easiness that is a rarity to find. One night changes all that, can two people with so much hurt and pain let their hearts be revived by each other or will the demons of their pasts keep them apart??Nina gives us all the details of Nash's history and what a life he has lead, I felt for what he'd had to deal with and understood why he guarded his heart so well. This book focuses on acceptance and forgiveness " your largest fear carries your greatest growth" this applies to Nash and Velvet. Both are capable of love and deserve to be loved their only obstacle is their insecurities, doubt and guilt. This book also has the brewing tension of Marcus and the club which culminates in the mother of all revelations at the end. Storm MC will never be the same again and left me reeling with thoughts on Griff, Kick and Wilder!!!! Nina how could you do that to us!!I adored this book and my only complaint was that it ended!! A five star ride from start to finish roll on October with Blade's story Slay.

Nash & Velvet's story - hot 5 stars
At first glance Nash Walker is a dirty talking fun time biker, however, we discover he's hiding behind this facade and is actually quite a troubled sole. Velvet Carr is a stripper who's fighting her own insecurities. They start out as best friends who give into the sexual tension between them and ultimately come together to help each other through their troubles. We had seen Nash in the previous books and while we knew he was dirty mouthed hot biker, we came to see in Revive that he was so much more. What was not to love about him (and I hope Nina thinks about writing more about Nash's family)One of the thing's I love about Nina's stories, is that she writes great leading ladies and Velvet was no different. She was strong and sassy while being incredibly vulnerable.Nash and Velvet's relationship was developed over years and the chemistry between them was more than believable, not least hot. Nash certainly lived up to his rep!Once again, Nina delivered great characters that you couldn't help but fall in love with.Of course, running through Revive is the developing story with Storm MC and the ending in this book has just left me wanting more. I can't wait for Blade's story (coming October).Once again a fantastic read from Miss Levine and gets a whopping 5 stars from me. This is up there as one of fave series. As per the blurb it is recommended that you read this series in orderSeries Reading Order: Storm , Fierce, Blaze, Revive

5 Stars BEST IN SERIES
I have enjoyed this series- the first book was a 3 star because I couldn't warm to Madison . But this one....Wow!! This one ticked ALL the boxes. The little things that were missing in previous books for me were in abundance here and without a doubt this is a 5 star read. I loved both Nash and Velvet. I have never really liked Madison much, I'm not sure why. The heroine that is Velvet is brilliantly written . She is no push over but she is sweet and kind and feisty too. She's got her head on straight this one and is everything Nash needs. Nash's backstory is sad and very moving. These two absolutely should be together. The best in the series without a doubt!!Can't wait to see what happens to the MC next???!!! Recommend strongly that you read the series in order. They're all good. This is the best. .

I didn't want it to end. :0((
I took a long break from reading biker stories until recently, when I started the Storm series. I chose these books because of the excellent reviews and, if I'm honest, the front covers were rather enticing too! Trust me when I say, I have enjoyed reading every single book in this series, they have all become huge favourites of mine. However, Revive will stay with me for a while. I feel like I've been on a journey with Nash. Also, Nina's writing in this book in particular, is outstanding. Each and every character is fabulous and easy to connect with. These Storm boys are just fab. If you haven't read this then you really are missing out on something great.
