Robalon replacement snowblower scraper bars are salt, Age & wear resistant. Robalon lasts 2-4 times longer than painted steel, & 3-4 times longer than stainless steel or injected molded Plastics. They have been factory wear tested for proven long life. No marking on concrete & will not scratch pavers or exposed Aggregate. The rigid construction adds stability to the blower housing & creates uniform contact with the ground for a cleaner surface.

Better than the rest!
I was lucky enough to get almost 10 years of use with the original scraper blade. After it wore out I replaced it with two inferior products. The first scraper blade replacement lasted one full season and the second replacement was so brittle it broke apart after just two uses. While this Robalon scraper bar cost twice as much as the other replacements I previously purchased, the quality appears significantly better. Just look at the photos. I wouldn’t normally pay twice as much for a seemingly identical item, but in this case I can tell you it is worth it. I reused the screws that came with snow blower to attach this replacement.

Made out of a billet of wear resistant plastic
The scraper is entirely different from stock MTD part. It looks like it is machined from Robalon UHMW(Ultra High Molecular Weight) PE. It is a plastic which is very resistant to wear.I did not test it for durability, but I hope it will wear slower than stock MTD scraper so it could hold the trim height longer.

This thing is tough & is holding up well. Well worth the extra cost over the cheap extruded versions.

WOW- a scraper blade that should last a long time
It is very well made out of a composite material that is much heavier with a much sharper edge than the cheap plastic ones.
