This is a fun game. It is Connect 4 but a durable, functional, wooden version. This is easy to use, anyone can play, my 8 year old loves to play this game. As a family, we have played many games and I think of the additional time we’ve had together because of this game. It’s fun to have at home for daily use and also for parties and big groups. The value for the money is good and the best part is that it stores away easily and can be put away when not in use.

Customers should know that this company "GoSports" has a high quality wood grain product that looks good and preforms as intended. I'm not 100% should we were missing one BLUE coin on delivery, but their customer service went over and beyond by sending a replacement piece with a spare Blue and Red coin as well. I may make other future purchases because of their customer service.

I loved this. I am a pretty critical buyer, and I was thoroughly impressed with this. From the photos I was a little worried that the large center piece would be made from MDF, but it was solid wood. It's stained beautifully, and very well made. I saw some reviews about the game pieces not locking into place, but it's crafted like a classic and very nice game...so I think you have to understand that when you buy it. It's perfect for my 7 year old, but if you are playing with toddlers or little kids who are going to abuse it, then it's probably best to just go to a big box store and purchase the plastic game.I personally love the carrying bag. This was one of the features that attracted me to this set. The plastic version from the big box store comes with a very flimsy cardboard box that doesn't hold up at all. We ended up losing a ton of game pieces this way. This came with a plastic bag for such game pieces and they fit nicely inside a velcro pouch after you bag them.I didn't have any issues with the bar at the bottom. You need to slide it all the way in place though. That's the only way (besides abuse) that I can imagine would result in game pieces falling out. It came with 20 each of red and blue game pieces- which fills up every slot on the game board.

It's beautifully made. I exaggerate not... I introduced it to my three old who happen and said, "Wow, this is so nice," as he touched the wood. It has the nice wood smell, too.The negatives:The carrying case makes no sense. If someone is storing a game away, it is almost never in a canvas bag. You have to disassemble it to store it, and the legs still stick out exposed. I'll find another box to store it in so I can store it in the game closet.It's easy to assemble, but you have to pay attention to which leg connects to which side of the frame. Otherwise it won't fit.The sliding piece that releases all of the game pieces does come loose. It's not so loose that it is a deal-breaker for me, but if the game pieces hit it just right, the slider will slide right out and potentially ruin your game.I was surprised to find that the game pieces were made of plastic.Overall, very nice craftsmanship. The aesthetics is exactly what I wanted.I was surprised that the red and blue pieces were plastic. I thought they were painted wood, but I might've misread that.

Everything was in the box and easy to assemble. Pieces feel high quality, the size was big enough to be visible but not too big to fit on a table, and the case makes it easy to break down and carry when you’re done.I Purchased this for a networking mixer I was hosting, and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to setup! We had 4 set up so that people had an ice breaker game to play while waiting for the event to start - wish we had more because people loved them!

I love connect 4 and wanted to get a nicer version of it for my cabin in Lake Arrowhead. This was it! Easy to setup and use, sturdy and durable, makes for a fun long lasting game night activity with friends.

My kids loved it, but it didn’t last too long. Knock it over on a hardwood floor a few times and things start breaking. Let’s face it… this is for kids to play with. It needs to be built for kids to abuse, because that’s what kids do.

This is a really nice set! It comes with a canvas carrying bag and it’s very easy to assemble. There are two small changes I’d make to improve the product: first, the pucks are in a little plastic bag that go into the front pocket of the carrying bag; it would be really nice if they were in a cloth bag that could be reused and not feel as cheap. Everything else about this seems well thought out and high quality except that. Second, the little bar across the bottom slides all the way out. The nails you see in the photo are my own addition to make resetting the game easier between rounds. Took a couple finish nails and a few minutes to put them in. I think it would be a nice addition from the manufacturer.
