Mega Bloks Lil' Princess Shimmering Palace Tub

I love this. She loves the princess blocks and ponies and I love that it as storage not just for what came with this set but for additional sets as well. It helps keep everything tidy when she is not playing with them.

Trying to purchase multiple play sets for my 3 yr old granddaughter to have a large collection from the 'Lil Princess series. My disappointment is that I thought from the descriptive name that I was purchasing the 'Lil Princess Unicorn Stable but the actual name printed on the box is Twinkle Castle (65 Pcs, has 2 princesses and only ONE PONY. I assumed a STABLE would have a couple of PONIES not one lone Pony). It is very similar to a play set I had already purchased, Shimmering Palace (88 Pcs, has 2 princesses and 2 ponies). The only benefit to having the two play sets is that the building towers in Shimmering Palace set are pink and in Twinkle Castle aka Unicorn Stable set the towers are blue which will add more building variety. My original purchase, Shimmering Palace was a much better deal from Kohl's in price and number of blocks. I'm sure she will enjoy it but I am disappointed that this set isn't more specifically focussed on ponies and pony stable characteristics as I had expected.

I got this gift for my 22 month old toddler girl. I first saw this in Ross and it cost only $21, and smart me did not buy it then. I am saying this because for $21 it is worth the money, but for $47...NO! I always like Mega Block and have been buying the product since my son was 3 (he is now 11). But I am highly dissapointed in this product. First, the green top where you are supposed to build the castle is so flimsy. It caves in and does not hold the blocks well. Second, the holding dots are so far from each other and they do not hold the blocks at all unless you conect several blocks together. Third, pieces are missing. There were at least 3 pieces missing and some others are not the colors or parts that were needed. Although, once it is build it is very cute. I do like the fact that the horses and the little princess that comes with this set are large enough for a toddler to play with. Overall, I am just okay with this product. My girl likes it but I dont see that top lasting too long. It will adventually break. No it does not worth the $47 at all.

Our box was missing some parts to actually construct the castle as the directions indicated. I never counted all the pieces to see if it came with less parts total than advertised or not. But it was missing 2 specific sizes to complete the build. Disappointing...

For Christmas my 3 yr old wanted "easy pink & purple legos". When I found these online they looked perfect, but unfortunately there were no purple blocks. All of the blocks that should have been purple were dark green. I had one disappointed little girl.

My two year old got this for Christmas this year. She loves it. It's now June and it's still a regular toy she plays with all the time. Good size blocks and good variety. I like the big box it comes in. I've added more sets to it and there is still plenty of room.

Daughter loves these blocks. They are durable and fun to play with, but they do not sit on the top as well as I would like. It just has an odd grooving so it makes it difficult to use for a good base. Otherwise it is a great product and any 3 year old would love to sit and play with them for hours

This item arrived somewhat "damaged" in that the top of the tub sags in the center and the sagging radiates outward from there. This creates a big problem because the top of the tub is the building ground for the enclosed Mega Bloks. It makes it very difficult for my toddler to build anything her imagination can come up with and it made it difficult for my husband to build the unicorn castle. Also there were many pieces missing (5 different styles, 20 pieces in total). Although the manufacturer has a fairly organized request process for missing pieces, had we not had another set of Mega Bloks it would have been quite frustrating for my husband to get half way through the building process to realize he didn't have enough pieces. This is still a neat set that my daughter will play with regardless of the sagging tub top, but the manufacturing and shipping/storage of this item needs to be better managed. I have contacted the manufacturer regarding the top and the pieces, but have not heard back about replacement for the tub top yet.
