Durable, but short
A bit short. I used it in my 1 gallon carboys, had to shove it all the way in. Also will need to buy more pipe for my siphon, it's nice and tight, but it's definitely not coming off anytime soon..

This is a very high quality bottle filler!
Title says it all, no complaints! Very nicely machined parts, can be completely disassembled and sanitized easily. Huge improvement over its plastic counterparts! Highly recommend, great investment!

a good bottle filler, with a few flaws
the first and most major flaw is the spring tip. the spring is weak, and the tip can get stuck open. the steel tip skates across the glass punt, and wants to find the outside edge. i've used it on only one batch, and the tip got stuck open twice out of 54 bottles, resulting in minor overflow. the tip should be milled with a shoulder which should trap the spring, and prevent misalignment. also, i worry about replacing the spring when it weakens or if it gets lost... the second flaw is minor. the 3/8" barb end is not quite large enough or long enough to hold silicone hose without a clamp. it leaked without one, and i worried the tubing would pop off. no big deal to use a clamp, but it shouldn't be necessary. in its favor, it's stainless. easy to disassemble and clean, although the spring doesn't have a positive fit, so does not reassemble with confidence. i got this because i brew both clean and sour beers, and don't need two sets of bottle fillers with this easily cleaned and sanitized filler. UPDATE: i've gone back to plastic bottle fillers, as this is completely undependable. does not seal well, and leaks badly at valve. this is under gravity only, not pressurized.

Just okay.
This is a really good idea, but a poor execution. It leaks were the hose attaches. I fixed it with a band clamp, but that was a pain in the butt to run into while bottling.

Sturdy, Well Made Filler
I'm a homebrewer and have used the old red and black plastic fillers with a plastic white tube attached. This one is far superior - well made and easy to clean/use. The one relatively small gripe I have is that it fills as slowly as the old plastic tips I was using - a slight pain but no big deal.

Great time saver
What a time saver! Well built and easy to use. Prefer this to cheaper plastic models.

Displaces too much volume!
Don't buy this to fill 12 oz bottles; it displaces too much volume and leaves you with about 3" of air at the top of the bottle. It may be OK for growlers.
