I bought this Torx ("star") wrench set to try after first going with something less expensive that Amazon recommended. These are precisely machined and seem to be of very high quality. After checking all the wrenches in this set, I find none to be different in quality, fit, and finish -- all are well made, smooth, and fit well. They are chamfered to ease insertion and extraction from the screw head. Nonetheless, all that I have tried fit very securely with no noticeable "play" in the screw head. They seat firmly and efficiently transfer your motion to the screw in question. Other less expensive sets are not so precisely machined and may allow "play," which makes them harder to use and more likely to damage the screw or the part being attached. (Cheaper sets allow more "play" between wrench and screw, making them more likely to slip out while you are applying force.) At less than $25, this set is still a great bargain over what I find in my local hardware and home supply stores -- and worth more than twice the cost of some of the less expensive options available here on Amazon.

The car, the truck and the motorcycle all have an abundance of allen and T head bolts. I got tired of rummaging through a box of tools trying to find the right one. These are nicely sized, hefty tools in a great holder that makes finding the correct tool quick and easy. And I love the larger size of the tool, it makes removal of stubborn bolts easy and just as easy to tighten to the proper torque. They fit into the bolt heads precisely, not loose or sloppy. Will get another set for my truck tool box.

The wrenches seem like they're really good quality. I just got them a few days ago and haven't done anything major with them yet. I chose this set over some others because of two reasons. I needed a set with a wide range of sizes. The other reason is, the advert stating this is "an American based tool company". If you're not scrutinizing the language used, you might think that statement translates to "made in America". So the company itself is in Los Angeles CA, but they outsourced to Taiwan. I'm mostly ok with this giving the current geopolitical climate. At least they didn't outsource to "West Taiwan", if you know what I mean.

These are awesome. Everyone should have a set of these in their tool box. Along w/a set of standard & metric Allen wrenches. But these Torx bit wrenches are for both regular AND tamper resistant torx heads.You might have seen from time to time a torx head (an Allen head but it's star shaped, then some of them have a nub/dimple in the middle) that's the tamper resistant part.These wrenches have a tiny little cup on the tip of the star of each size torx wrench so you can loosen or tighten up any torx or tamper resistant torx head screws.

So I'm a cnc machinist and I use the smaller ones multiple times a day. I've yet to break one or have it snap. I also have yet to have one round off on the end. They have a nice gold engraving of the size it is on it. All around nice little set for the price. I would definitely purchase again.

I needed a particular size star wrench, but I did not want to spend the least amount of money for the worst piece of cheap metal. I studied my Amazon choices a little and chose this tool. I was very satisfied as soon as I removed the tool from the package. The wrenches are made of hard material and did not waver. The wrench itself is well designed and simply worked well from my hand to my item. I am glad someone taught me the value of tools.
