Bench Yeah!
This is a great workout bench. I use it daily in multiple configurations and it’s never given out on me. It feels sturdy and well made. My only complaint is when you move it, the little plastic caps that go on the legs fall off and the smaller seating area comes out of the notch and falls flat. Not a big deal, and doesn’t affect functionality, just a little annoying.

First impression: great value
I picked this up for some dumbbell work when I don't feel like hauling my butt down to the gym. I just set it up today and finished my first lift. So far, I'm impressed. While I wasn't blown away by the level of packaging, it arrived undamaged. Even the rolled-up exercises poster wasn't crushed. There are a few translation errors in the manual, but honestly, setup was so easy that instructions weren't really needed. Within minutes, I was trying it out.The first thing I noticed is that it's really light. Coupled with some reviews I saw claiming it cracked in half on first use, I was a little wary when I climbed on it with weights. As soon as I started lifting, stability concerns immediately left my mind. I had it set up on carpet and it still felt almost as stable as a commercial bench on gym rubber. However, one downside to the light weight is that it slides when an exercise applies as much lateral force as downward. I had to brace the back stabilizer with my feet for spider curls. Pins are spring-loaded, which is great for a bench this cheap. Adjustment is easy during supersets.Being light makes it very easy to pack up and store, though it's a little awkward to carry in the folded state and could have used some handles. The manual claims there are holes for the pins to lock the seat and back into place while folded, but I only found one on the seat side. Also, not having holes for the locking bolt to pass through the frame once folded seems like a missed opportunity. Together these oversights allow it to flop around a bit as it's carried, so make sure you're holding it right to avoid pinched fingers. It would be possible to slide this under a bed in the extended state, but it'd probably be too tall to do so once folded. As you can see, it fits nicely in the corner behind my rowing machine.Between my body weight and dumbbells, I'm only loading it up with about half the weight it's rated for. Not sure I'd try any serious barbell work on it. But for 80 bucks, I'd say my expectations are met without any serious drawbacks and I'm excited about getting some more use out of it. If the thing falls apart while I'm on it, you know I'll come back to update the review :)

Nice Budget Bench
Nice bench for the price range, but it arrived somewhat damaged in shipping. Ultimately, this shouldn't impact the functionality, but they should consider improving their packaging. Also, the plastic caps that are included for the feet are extremely tight fitting. You'll probably need a rubber mallet to get them on. It would be nice if this came with wheels to make it easier to maneuver when assembled, but it is what it is. Overall it packs up nicely and I like the different adjustments, but I definitely wouldn't trust this up to 800 lbs. For heavy lifters, I'd recommend something higher grade and more stable.

Feels just like a bench at the gym
The media could not be loaded. I've been doing dumbbell workouts nearly everyday on this bench for 2 months now.Things I like about this bench:• Feels well made and sturdy.• Foldable form is perfect for apartment living.• Mine doesn't wobble, like at all.• That foothold thing is optional, you'll notice I didn't attach it to my bench.• Some other foldable benches sit really high off the ground for some reason, this one is normal height.• I appreciate that the design is low profile and doesn't look obnoxious next to my furniture.Areas of concern:• I saw other reviewers say that the nub in the locking mechanism got bent during bench press. I would not bench press with this bench, just because the locking mechanism doesn't inspire that much confidence for me. However I did stress test this bench by laying it flat, sitting on the upper edge while holding two 70 lb dumbbells, and bouncing up and down on the seat to see if it would break. It did not feel like it would give. I also regularly do chest press with two 70 lb dumbbells on this thing. This bench feels very sturdy and I am not worried at all that the locking mechanism will have any issues during dumbbell exercises. I also have the feeling that the people that had bent locking mechanisms possibly didn't twist it all the way in like you're supposed to. However, if I do have problems with this bench, I will definitely update this review.• The upright height isn't enough to lay your head against for overhead press. I thought this would be annoying but it turns out it doesn't really matter at all, since I could scoot forward in the seat and lean back so that my head is supported by the bench. Also doing overhead press without leaning your head back is not even unpleasant.Overall, this bench is high quality and fills all my needs. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.Update: A little over 4 years later, that little nub finally broke off. I have the powerblocks barbell attachment, and I've been setting the bar (roughly) onto the bench after doing shoulder shrugs. The full weight of that is 200 pounds (90kg). I was doing that for a year before it broke. Thought I'd update the review, but it looks like they changed this listing to a different product so it doesn't matter that much anymore I guess.
