Aspirin Is the Best Pain Reliever!!!
A few decades ago, acetaminophen was introduced as the new, SAFER pain reliever. Everybody forgot about aspirin because over/extended use may cause stomach bleeding. However, truthfully, acetaminophen was never as greater pain reliever as aspirin. AND it has always been known over/extended use may cause kidney failure. The use of 'profens' is not better because some of them were invented for heart attacks and have a more than admitted/or not known reaction of hair loss. Many 'profens' were invented as anti-inflammatory medications. Why on earth you would administer that type of (now) otc drug to a baby or a child is beyond my comprehension because I NEVER would. Aspirin has always been known to be beneficial for heart attacks. In recent years, a well-known company has lost business because of product tampering, etc. causing some of its acetaminophen products not to be available any longer. There is a familiar company that has made benefit out of all of this. Claiming that aspirin is not an 'old' pain relief remedy and has a newly marketed product that claims to be the best pain reliever (however this product is not new because the same ingredients has always been in the product named Excedrin). The point of all of this is simple: Aspirin has been medicine's best invention for pain relief. It is not an additive narcotic like codeine or morphine, etc. It can be safer than the 'profen' family because there is no hair loss reaction. The only pain that it is not good for is pain for children because it is too strong on their young metabolisms. But for young adults (over the age of 12), adults and non-breatfeeding or pregnant women, aspirin is still the best pain reliever. BC has been around for decades. Because it is in powder form, it is quicker to enter your blood stream, delivering pain relief quicker than pill or gel caps (which can deliver a reaction such as yeast infections for women, etc. due to the gelatenous capsule. Something that is not well discussed either.)BC should never be used to excess, but for those times when you need pain relief BC delivers. No I am not a medical professional. But I have had the benefit to have been raised by 2: A surgeon and a Registered Professional Nurse (each of over 50 years). Living in their household did teach me certain rudimentary things. One of those things was the benefit of aspirin. But as with any over the counter medicine, consult your medical professional; because it is important to understand and know how medications impact with other medications.

It's perfect for my needs
I have had gastric bypass surgery, so taking NSAIDS isn't an option unless they are in powder format.Tylenol is all but useless for arthritis, and doctors really resist prescribing anything stronger like vicodin or codeine for arthritis like mine . . . so I have resorted to grinding up regular aspirin. However, this is a pain in the butt, especially with coated aspirin since it's impossible to remove the coating after grinding, so the coating flakes remain at the bottom of my coffee or tea (it's better to dissolve the powdered medication into a mug of hot liquid). So, this product saves me having to grind the aspirin up and also having to deal with the nasty residue from the coating at the bottom of my teacup. And should anyone question WHY I had coated aspirin in the first place . . . . well, it was one of my purchases in the hopes I COULD take NSAIDS without having to grind them up, but the coating didn't help because after the coating melted the main part of the aspirin was still in my stomach, and after the surgery there are little to no gastric 'juices' in the stomach to protect it from a small pill dissolving against the stomach wall. Pretty terrible feeling that NO ONE who has had it wants to repeat.Powdered is better.
