Big Daddy (Dark Daddy Doms Book 1) Kindle Edition

This was the first book I've read from this author and won't be my last. The sex scenes were hot and steamy and tastefully written. They didn't overshadow the awesome characters and amazing storyline. Loved that it ended HEA. I could not put this down and read it in one sitting. I didn't want it to end. I'm not going to give any spoilers. Read it, you will be glad you did.

. Big Daddy is the first book in Ava Sinclair’s Dark Daddy Dom series. This book highlights the romantic journey of Jill Stafford and Max Ivers. Both Jill and Max wear emotional scars. Jill’s are from her dysfunctional childhood being raised by a single alcoholic mother. Her father left them when she was only four years old. Max emotional scars stem from his estranged father who sent him to a boarding school in France. A year later, Max’s mother dies. Max has never forgiven his father for sending him away. Destiny brings Jill and Max together when Jill ends up drunk, unemployed, and homeless. He is instantly attracted to her. She awakens his protective and possessive tendencies. To discover how their romantic journey unfolds, you must read this book.Ms. Sinclair penned another age-play romance. Her characters have several layers to them. I appreciate how Ms. Sinclair juxtaposes a petite, emotionally scarred young woman with a rich, strong, muscular, and dominant male. These two come from diverse backgrounds; yet, they have one thing in common—a need to be accepted and loved for who they are. I thought it was clever that Ms. Sinclair uses the concept of man vs. self (Jill’s struggles with her insecurities and Max’s alienation with his father) to ratchet up the tension of this plot. Way to go, Ms. Sinclair!

Max and Jill were two broken ppl that were put back together with trust, dominance and submission. This short ,sexy and in the end sweet book is a good read and my first from this author who I will continue to find more of her work. I recommend it if you’re looking for a quick and sexy read

Although I do love Ava Sinclair books, and this was was good also , there were some parts I did not agree with .. He filmed her got her fired (even though that was by mistake ) and held back till the end all while not allowing her to do the same .. She was allowed to hold nothing back yet he did . I'm glad they worked it out and got their HEA

As she always does Ava defines clearly that ache of embarrassing inner turmoil and the need for guidance that radiates through our lives and into our carnal needs. I love the humanity of the characters and enjoyed the sensuality but personal growth of the story as well.

There are a few errors noted but the writing flows smoothly. I was surprised to see the subject of Daddy kink handled in such a way. As written, it wasn't kink so much but a useful method of dealing with tragedies from the pasts of the hero and heroine. I liked the personalities of both, even though for a short time they were very unlikable, the heroine more so than the hero. Things changed quickly as this is a short story and came to a very satisfying conclusion. I really wish it were longer. There was so much more that could have been included and would have heightened the enjoyment. Too bad for a lost opportunity.

I just loved this story! From the first chapter to the last I couldn’t put it down! It keeps me wanting for more.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves the damsels in distress type stories. A wonderful way to unwind by reading this daddy dom/ little girl lost inside herself. They both realizing that they need each other and together work everything out.
