I needed a replacement battery for Dell Inspiron laptop that was 4.5 years old. I checked the Dell website and the replacement battery was $85 so I took a chance and ordered this for around $30. It has been installed for a day now and the charge says 100%. Other than the confusing instructions about discharging the battery to 3% on first use before fully charging, this has been a great experience.

At the time of placing the battery in the laptop indicated on the screen that "the battery can not be identified, the system can not charge the battery" being the battery identical to the original.

I fit fine and works ok. I think that the charge does not last as long as my original but that may be due to other factors. I am satisfied with this product.
