I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Good quality product. They are versatile for many applications and I keep them in my tool bag all the time. In addition, they are cheaper and work as well as the one you purchase from Homedepot.

Slightly wider than the standard worm gear hose clamps (which I like very much). They Feel thicker and much sturdier than the normal clamps (which I also like). They don't feel like you'll strip the worm gear or the track which I have managed to do to on several standard clamps in the past. They tightened smoothly and held our solid flexible dryer hose securely better than I have ever experienced in the past. They're not overpriced and well worth the money. I will definitely purchase these clamps again for other projects.

Worked well but on one of the adjusters came off the strap. It happens sometimes but I couldn’t get it back on. The other 3 will be outside so will see if they rust.

Good hardware: be sure to order correct size. I didn't, was allowed return.

I used the 3" pair in this set to secure the rubber bellows of my pickup truck inner tierod to the steering rack after replacing the tie rod. Oem used a metal single use clamp I had to cut to remove. Tried zip ties initially but they would pop off. These were easy to install in place without removing the tie rod and hold the rubber boot bellow tight to the rack to keep out eater and debris.
