Kept phone from being snatched from my hands and falling off ship
Bought one to secure my phone while on a cruise and land trip to Italy. Worked great and kept my phone from falling when taking pictures over the edge of the ship and at other locations, where dropping the phone ment it was gone. It was comfortable to have on around my wrist. My wife also had this on her phone during the trip and had no complaints. I am positive it kept both our phones from being snatched multiple times in some tourist areas.

Peace of mind
This is great! No more dropping your phone & no one grabbing your phone as easily.

Good for skiing, hiking, traveling, and raves
I have used this phone tether for sketchy hikes and skiing where dropping my phone would make it impossible to retrieve. The cord doesnt stretch super far if you have it attached to your belt loops: it's enough for normal use, but maybe not for taking pictures from any angle you want. The caribiners themselves do have a sort of locking feature, I did notice one time it unclipped from my jacket, but I think it was user error. Overall this lanyard works well and the carabiners are good quality like you would expect from nite ize

Reliable wrist tether that needs replacement every 6-7 months
I'm on my seventh Nite Ize Hitch Phone Anchor and have another one ready to order when this one wears out. I primarily use the coiled tether to secure my phone to my wrist while skiing, working outdoors, and for general use around the house. What I love: The coil length is perfect, the clips are strong and secure, and the overall design is incredibly convenient for keeping my phone accessible but protected. It does exactly what I need it to do. The trade-off: The small fabric tab that connects the metal carabiner clips to the coiled tether is the weak point. With my regular use across various conditions, this fabric loop eventually wears through and separates after about 6-7 months. This is the only reason it's not a 5-star review. Bottom line: At $14.60, I consider this reasonable value for a product I use daily in demanding conditions. The fact that I keep reordering tells you everything - it's the best solution I've found, even with the predictable wear point. If you need a reliable phone tether and don't mind replacing it twice a year with heavy use, I definitely recommend it.

Useful lanyard.
I have to get my phone out of my ski jacket regularly for work. No longer worry about dropping it from the chair. The connection is really clever and I like that I don’t have to stick anything to my phone.

Nice but not for a shallow phone case
I've never used a phone tether so there's been a learning curve. I like being able to fasten the phone to my purse or use the tether as a bracelet. It feels very secure. I've used a particular brand of low profile phone case for many years and have only had a problem when my phone landed face down on a rock. That cracked the screen protector. After using this tether for 2 weeks, I have multiple screen protector cracks even though the phone has not been dropped or handled roughly. The tab for the tether lifts the phone in the case enough that the edges of the screen protector are exposed and much more prone to abrasions on the edges. I suspect it is also placing pressure on the back of the phone cause extra tension inside the case. I will have to stop using it.

Good for Travel
On a recent trip overseas, I had my phone in my hand most of the day, every day, in a city that has recently become notorious for phone snatchers. The design gives the flexibility to attach this to an item (bag, pants, etc) or loop around your wrist, but I ended up using it around my wrist most of the time. My wrist is around 7"/17.8cm circumference and looping the strap once around my wrist felt fairly secure, looping it twice felt a bit tight, but completely secure. As far as installation, I thought that this wouldn't work well since it doesn't stick onto the phone or case, but in reality, the card behind the phone inside the case is a perfect design, and there's pretty much no way it's coming loose unless the strap or attachment point breaks.

Endlich keine Angst mehr, dass das Handy im Bus runterfällt, aus meiner Sicht viel besser als eine Schlaufe zum Umhängen um den Hals

Terrible and expensive
