The 3 inches thick and 44 inches wide is the way to go. It is so comfortable to sleep on, especially if you like firm mattresses. I also like all the natural materials used in this mattress... no foam product off-gassing. If you are two normal sized people I think this 44-inch size could accommodate your sleeping needs. A Twin bed size is 39 inches wide, so I find the extra 5 inches makes a difference. But get two if you are larger in size and would like a more spacious sleep experience. I really find the Kapok material fascinating. It is actually buoyant and was used in life-preservers years ago. It also has some self-cleaning properties. The fabric is 100% cotton. I think it is suggested you clean it by sprinkling baking soda over the mattress and let it sit for 20 mins and then vacuum it off. This mattress is also easy to fold up and use as a seat... good for those minimalists out there who don't want a large conventional bed taking up precious living space.. :) The only caveat in this review is I just bought this product and I don't know how well the stitching will hold up. Hopefully, it will, but I will follow up on my review if it all starts falling apart.

I wanted this for pallets on the floor and to double as a travel mattress instead of the horrible air mattresses people use that don't work. It is perfect. I was hesitant to buy one because of the shipping issues people posted about, but it came well wrapped and clean!It's firm but not hard like the floor is. I can't wait to use it for movie nights, etc.Big bonis was finding out that the product is fair-trade. Glad to be a part of the OTOP program and use this wonderful product.

I am a recent college grad that is broke and job searching and know that I will have to be moving around a lot in the next few years. Because of this, I tried to find a futon type mattress that was foldable, would fit into my small car, and would provide for a nice firm night's sleep to support my back yet not be so rock hard that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. This mattress perfectly does the job. Granted, I've only slept on it for one night so I can't attest to how well it holds up, but it is much much lighter than a traditional futon, beautifully designed, a good size, and firm but not rock solid so it's fine to sleep on. it's a good value for the price, and pretty much exactly what I was looking for!

I used two of these on a large outdoor "sofa" built from pallets. They have very worked well. I cover them when it rains and take them inside over the winter, but other than that, they have been exposed to the elements and three large dogs and have held up incredibly well!

I have had a number of different Thai pads since we have owned a spa and massage school. This one is so much better than any I have had in the past. The stitching is sturdy, padding is solid yet comfortable and it folds up easy. Not awkward or heavy. Great forbthai or shots massage and would also work great to sleep on. I will probably order another larger one for a sleeping mat for camping or guests.

This is basically where I spend every evening doing adult “tummy time” because I sit too much during the day. It is big enough for me and my 2 dogs to snuggle. Covering it with a fitted bed sheet is highly recommended. I vacuum it a few times a week and use a alcohol and essential oil based spray to keep it fresh.

I would like to highly recommend this product for sleeping and resting the old fashion way which used to be the right way of sleeping by supporting your body in a solid and firm mattress made from real cotton which will not harbor bacteria as much as the Foam mattress and also will keep its shape for years and cool you in the Summer and warm you in the winter !Great Product
