Strahl Design+Contemporary Classic 13-oz Wine Glass, Set of Four, Clear

I love these wine glasses. I have been searching for a long time for quality plastic wine glasses for out by the pool and finally found them. Everyone thinks they are glass! They are very pretty and almost have a bit of a blue hue to them. Also the edge that you put to your lips is not sharp like all the others I have seen. I highly recommend these!

We discovered these at a fine hotel's pool bar and were startled to learn they are not glass. Even empty, they have the thickness and heft of glass. Yet unlike other "plastic" glasses, even in this high volume environment they showed minimal or no scratches. Polycarbonatre (same stuff used in bank teller windows) is the reason for both the heft and unbreakabiliy even on hard tiled decks. Last unbreakable glasses I'll ever buy.

I bought these because I managed to break four wineglasses over the course of the past year while washing them. They were very inexpensive so it wasn't a matter of money. These new ones are much more expensive, but so worth it. They're made of polycarbonate that doesn't break or shatter. I don't know if they scratch, but I wouldn't want to experiment on them to find out. I don't recommend putting them in the dishwasher because they will spot like plastic, even with rinse aid. The appearance also takes a little getting used to because they aren't typical thin glass, but again, their convenience is well worth it to me, and I don't even drink wine!

Sturdy and clear

I ordered these to keep and use on the boat after a glass one broke. They look and feel great. My wife, who insisted on having glass on the boat in the first place, is now a convert. They’re high quality for the money.

Expensive, but the nicest plastic wine glasses you can buy. Nice feel and not too light weight.
