My five hear.old has worn it everyday for 5 months. She is rough with jewelry! Keeps it on all the time..even in bath and pool and lakes, etc. Has not broken or tarnished. Love this. Only negative was that other names had the first letter uppercase and Kara did not. Cursive lowercase k looks funny. However she got over it.

Nameplate is about 2 inches wide, not to big not too small, Great quality. Have been wearing it for almost two weeks and have not taken it off yet, and it has not changed its coloring, even after being submerged in water.
