Percol Organic Fairtrade Smooth Colombian Ground Coffee 200g (Pack of 6)

I used to drink Percol regularly before it was repackaged a couple or so years ago. I was annoyed that the pack size was considerably reduced by over 19% from 227g to 200g and the price increased. I also found that it was slightly more coarsely ground. With recent shortages, I’ve found it difficult to obtain my usual day to day coffee, so I bought a couple of boxes of Percol and overall, it’s ok. I use it in a filter, with paper. Also in cafetière and it works well in both. I usually pour a little water over the coffee to release the flavour, then pour the rest of the boiled water over it and leave it for around 5 minutes. The flavours well rounded, without bitterness. Great for drinking every day.

Besides being a very nice to drink coffee, and not too bitter, we really appreciate that the packaging is compostable. Why can't more companies do that?!!

Love the flavour of this coffee. Even the decaff flavour is good. Not bitter but a rich flavour.
