I have a bassine handbrush that always sweeps more effectively that the generic plastic bristle broom I had and wanted a bassine bristle broom to make clearing my pathways easier. After reading the reviews I opted to buy this Newman & Cole Broom Head and I'm so glad I did! Thankfully my old broom handle fitted perfectly onto this broom head. It's sturdy but lightweight and makes quick work of a job that used to take me ages and leave me with an aching back. This broom is exactly what I was looking for and I'd highly recommend it

Bristles not so stiff as those which had completely worn out on my old broom. But they get the job done, and this head is lighter in weight and handier than its predecessor.
