This is a very nice little playpen! Comes with a small storage bag, it folds up like a car sun shade. The material is slippery and easy to clean, which means its perfect for a leopard gecko. Our leopard gecko attempted to escape by climbing and could not get a foothold, so this is great for adventurous reptiles. Our snake enjoys it too and it makes him feel safe and relaxed. We haven't tried it yet, but plan on testing out putting a heat pad on this playpen on the lowest setting so our little girl can bask as she hangs out with us. This would probably also be great for other small animals like hamsters, mice, rats, and probably even very young kittens!

When I first got this, I wasn't sure how it work. However, I have a super shy and super small Chinese dwarf hamster who is timid about being held and is too small for hamster balls. So this playpen was a match made in heaven!I pop out the playpen, layer towels with tunnels between them, put some hidey-huts in, and hide snacks in throughout the setup. She gets plenty of room to run, explore, and learn to be braver. She's too small to push on or climb over the walls at all. They are sturdy against her minute stature. I don't leave her unattended since she likes to chew, but she's never tried to chew the walls.She really enjoys her freedom in this setup. She didn't like the fabric at first. I think the plastic like material is great for clean up but a bit noisy for shy hamsters. But when I put towels in, it made it work well. Even on old t-shirt has worked.Over all A+ for cleanliness, sturdiness (for dwarf hamsters), packability, and ease.

We bought the Large (4.59 ft x 18.9 in) so my kids could play with their new hamster in a safe place. We lined it with a fleece blanket and it worked out great. As long as the hamster is directly supervised I'm not concerned about chewing holes. The material is thin though so it wouldn't take much to create a hole. It comes with a cute zipper pouch for storage but we won't be using it. I'm worried that it will ruin the thin wires so we just fold it up flat and store under the couch. One of the sides is already bowing in a bit but it should hold up plenty fine for just playing with the hamster. It's also a good height, keeps our dogs out.

The media could not be loaded. I love that it is big enough for my 6-year-old or me even to be able to sit in there with them if we want but I usually just like to set it up with toys and different things for them to play with in there and have had no problem with them trying to chew through whatsoever. I've read reviews where people say it arrived with a hole in it etc but mine was in perfect condition and folds up very easily and it's great to save on space seeing as how I used to have to use a big box. As far as people saying their hamsters chewed a hole through it immediately I noticed in a lot of those pictures or videos they had no toys or anything down to keep their attention so of course they're going to try to chew their way out because they're bored and my one hamster is definitely a chewer but she loves having all the space to run and all the different toys to play with and along with the blue waterproof tarp I bought to put along the bottom has also helped deter that so if you have hamsters and would like to get them out of their cages once a day like I do to be able to run around and play then this is perfect for you and for other small animals as well but I just have two hamsters that live in separate cages and when I put them together in this medium size playpen it's big enough and has enough areas to hide and play that they get along and never fight or anything so it was definitely a win-win!

Adopted an abandoned stay kitten and needed something to keep her contained with toys while I was busy attending to my other animals and doing stuff around the house. Not knowing her health status at the time, I wanted to keep her in a small area away from my other pets so she didnt have to be in a separate room or crated all the time. This playpen worked beautifully. It kept her safe and at away from my other pets, though they did observe her playtime from a safe distance. She quickly outgrew the playpen but by then she had a clean bill of health from the vet and was able to be out and about. Now I use it as a toy box.Size: Perfect. I was even able to sit in it with her and play. Definitely large enough for a bed, toys and plenty of running room for small animals.Durability: Its a folding pop up playpen. Not intended for hard use or animals with very sharp claws as the bottom is not very thick material.Storage: Great! It folds up very easily and lays flat in a rectangular shape so it can easily be placed between boxes or on a shelf with things placed on top.

This playpen is perfect for my Syrian Hamster because he can run free without the concern that he’ll get lost or hurt. I purchased the medium and it gives hamster lots of room.He spilled a bit of water and it didn’t soak through fabric so easy to clean up. Folds up into a zipper bag. It’s a bit difficult to fold up, twist and zip playpen into bag so instead I fold up sides and tuck the playpen behind my couch instead of folding then twisting into bag. My kids cannot twist and zip into bag and it has become untwisted a few times while trying to put in bag and it bounced back. There is metal wiring inside walls so it can spring back and hit in face.After several times of folding, twisting and zipping into bag, I noticed that the walls have become a bit crooked. It’s definitely easier to just fold up.Really love the polka dots and colors.This has given our hamster more freedom and our family can play with him at ease! Our hamster tried jumping up but didn’t reach the top of walls.
